Roodoku Problems with High Scoring.

Sun Apr 29, 2007 7:32 pm

Okay, Im like a proooo at Roodoku, but I looked at the highscores and it doesnt make any sense to me..

Easy- 200 (200 + 200 = 400)
Medium- 400 (400 + 400 = 800)
Hard- 600 ( 600 + 600 = 1200)

^ Points when you win. Also your time.

So the highest amount of points that you can win in Easy is 400. But its impossible to win the highest amount, it takes time to finish the puzzle,

Same with medium the highest you win is 800.

I play HARD. my highest score is 1150. But its so hard getting close to that. My next highest is 1013.

The high scores that the people have on the Highscore table are like 1236. HIGHER then the max. high score. You can only receive 1200 points on Hard.

So either. Some one is cheating, but even if they were cheating like HOW do you go higher then the max? is there some freeze time secret that i dont know about or something. the game is brand new

anyway. im confused..

The max time bonus in roodoku is 700 for hard, not 600.

ooh.. still how are people beating it with a 1200 score. i dont get it.

Yes, the game claims its a 600 bonus, but it is really 700. That is to say, the max possible score in Roodoku is 1400, not 1200-I think. thats assuming that the base score you gain upon compleation is also 700, instead of 600.

So highscores of 1242 are NOT impossible.

The game gives you a bonus of 600 on completion of the game on hard and you have a countdown of 700. Any time leftover gets added to the bonus. So max score is 1300.

my guess is that they enter it into a solver online... (they do exist, and are not hard to find) and are just very efficient at entering information.

I'd think a custom solver of some sort, maybe a mouse/keyboard control macro to input things more efficiently. I doubt they're tampering with the flash directly.

Of course, still cheating, really.
