Random Events and Birthdays

Okay, I tried to do a search so that I wouldn't start a new thread, but the results were so massive that I couldn't wade through them all. 
Anyway, here is my question: Today is my Neopian birthday. I joined up on May 12 a few years ago... and I never payed attention to random events that happened on the anniversary of my sign-up day. Do they happen more frequently on the anniversary of signing up? On my actual birthday? On both days?
Just curious if I want to play any card games like Cheat! or Pyramids to increase my page views, and in return, random events.

i believe it only increases re's on your actual b-day. or days when you have the b-day side bar so yours and neopets. only.

random events, are increased on the accounts birthday, in other words, the birthday you entered when signing up, and on Neopets birthday
