Donations to Tombola?

I always seem to show up at the Tombola right when he needs donations, well normally I give him 7np, then I keep refreshing, so that it say.. *Thank you for the 7np donation* .. I was wondering if that increased the chances of winning, but normally I always just get a booby prize.. soo .. anybody know?

in my experience it does absolutely nothing to donate to tombola... then again that's just my experience... maybe we're just not donating the right amount...

I once saw that he needed a certain amount np to open up again and I donated 2,000np and it said "thanks for your donation, maybe this act of kindness will be returned one day..." lol.. I have gotten some pretty nice random events lately, so maybe I owe it to the tiki man.

I have no clue if that increases your chances but it prob will... because i usually donate about 150 when he says that and the past 5 or 6 times I have done it I ended up with a codestone or bottled faerie or both! lol

I havent had a chance to donate since I returned to neopets, but I used to donate money sometimes. It never helped much for tombola but I seemed to have better luck in other areas.

I generally play tombola early in the morning (NST) when I wake up (which is around 10 or 11 am CST). I dont win very often either
