So today I decided I'd log in since I hadn't in over 2 weeks. And I only log in to find this:
WARNING!
This account has been FROZEN for the following reason:
This account was one of many being used by the same user to earn Neopoints and items.
Frozen. Just one month after my 6 year anniversary. All of my accounts. Every single last one. I haven't even been logged in 2 weeks, how can they just go and freeze me? My cousin was the only one who played on my computer in the 2 week period, but his account is fine. I only used 3 accounts to log into daily, before I decided to stay away for 2 weeks. I lost everything. All 3 of those accounts had lab access, and pets I created over 5 years ago. One pet even had a Fat Cat as a petpet. What a waste. I'm not even going to bother to send in a frozen account report, I've done that plenty in the past and it never works for me. There was no way I was hacked because my password is pretty much impossible to guess, and plus I cleared my cookies the last time I actually logged in, and I know I wasn't frozen a couple of days ago because I looked up my account just to check up on things. This sucks.
edit: I went ahead and sent in a frozen form, but I still doubt a reply.

Ouch. That bites the big one. I hope you get your account back.

This is strange. They must have been able to tell that you and your cousin are seperate people since only your accounts were frozen. So it's weird that they would accuse you of using multiple accountsto earn neopoints. Hopefully it was a mistake.

What the ... heck?! Sounds like an "automatic" freezing of sorts. Something in the back of my brain itches, after recalling a recent editorial about Whack-a-Kass.
Apparently something is stored on your computer for WaK and if you have unlocked the last level but other users log on from the same computer haven't, they still get the "benefit" of being able to play using that unlocked level even if they haven't attainted it themselves on their own account. I always thought this very strange.
Could something like this have possibly happened? Hopefully by now you have explained the situation to them and I actually think you will get your accounts back.
Really horrible to come on PPT and read something like this. Scary, very scary.

That is why I only use 1 account now. I am seriously afraid to leave my account alone now. Hope you get your account(s) back!

That sucks. They probabally go "Eni Meenie Mynie Mo!", everytime their bored and freeze another account. Sorry to hear about that. Hope you get your account back.

They even froze a couple of accounts that I haven't logged into for at least 3 or 4 months. All the accounts I used daily had the same email address, and of course my cousins had a seperate address, but it's really weird that all of mine were frozen and his wasn't. He was the only one that ever played games, and obviously since I hadn't logged in something happened that I had nothing to do with. But he doesn't know any of my passwords, so I know it wasn't his fault.
edit: I got a reply back, but just one of those automated ones from Bernadette. I'm not even gonna try and email her back and have her unfreeze my account. I was wanting to quit anyway, and now's the perfect time and also the perfect excuse.

I've heard from my friend that had the same thing happen to them, though they had all their friends log into their computer when they visit. They were able to get their account back the next day, so I think it's a problem that they easily could fix.

Hey Dustin, you've been around for ages I'm really sorry that this happened. To make you feel better, my accounts were frozen in 2004, they accused me of cheating in flash games when as a matter of fact, I NEVER played any flash games. I only had dial up then and flash games take too long to load. I lost my 20mil account with a baby lupe, mara draik, rainbow krawk and a lab pet with 200str boost along with a few other side accounts of mine.
One of my sides was spared though, I think it's cuz I used a different email for it. I'm really sorry about what happened to you, I quit for almost 3 yrs since they froze me.Came back in Apr, but I only play stocks these days but hopefully when you feel ready, starting fresh is always good too
They didn't do diddley squat when I wrote to them, both through the internet and snail mail. So at least you know they didn't pick on you.

Thanks. I'm surprised I wasn't IP banned or anything, because I know they used my IP to freeze all of my accounts. I've been frozen 4 times, meaning I've had to make a new main account. I was frozen the first time in 2002 (I signed up in 2001) I think, then in 2004, 2006, and now here in 2007. The main account I was using this year was an old one I hadn't ever used, hence it being 6 years.

They did mention that they won't freeze for this because it's not the user's fault if cookies from another user's account unlock a WaK level. So it's probably unrelated to this.

Oh, I know, I wasn't saying it was the WaK "cookie" (for lack of the actual term that I don't know). But I was thinking it could have been some temporary internet file similar to such that is associated with a users account.
Now I can better see their confusion. If you were frozen four times in the past, and created a new "main" each time, that could be enough to throw them off.
It was probably a human misunderstanding. But wow, four times frozen. Are you sure you didn't break a rule without knowing it? What were the prior reasons for freezing?

The 3 times prior was for "Attempting to scam other users" which wasn't ever true. I use to trade and use auctions a lot in the past, so I'm guessing that's what got me. I was chain iced once in the past, but the other 2 times I just had my main frozen.
Now my cousin is afraid to log into his account because he thinks they'll freeze him too.

that makes me so paranoid. I'm going on a week long holiday the 11th and I'd be very upset if I came home to a frozen account.

Wow. Just wow.
