Deleting old accounts

Looks like neopets is deleting old accounts again. I occasionaly look at my old account cheetah99989 which was scammed years and years ago. It was my first account. Anyway it has been delelted from neopets. It now says that it no longer exists. Does anyone else know any other accounts been deleted?

TNT are always going to be occasionally deleting names. I don't think they'll go on a big sweep like the last time. If you want a name that's been abandoned the only thing to do is to check up every now and then to see if it's been purged. I don't like to post them on here due to name hoarders who only take a username and leave, which defeats the point.

They've yet to delete old accounts that my friends used to use. They left six years ago and my very first pet, Underscore the Kacheek and Mudder_Fudder_Bish the Koi, are still sitting on one of their accounts.

I just checked - my old account from 2001 is gone and I checked one of my old pet's names and it now belongs to a pet that is 20 days old.

my 1st account has been unused since around 2001 due to a scammer...and its no longer in the neo database. But it makes sense because that account was created SO long ago.

Ah if only I were more diligent. I've been keeping my eye on an old inactive account name off and on for a while. Prompted by this thread, I just checked and it was re-aquired by someone else, less than three weeks ago - August 18, 2007.

I discovered that my first account was deleted quite some time ago. Fortunately, there wasn't much on it worth crying over.

Good thing my first one isn't gone. I just logged in so it won't be deleted for a while. I do that a lot since my yahoo was deleted. *cry* It had special stuff on it.
