23rd October - Symol Day
* Symols will love adding these new Fun Images to their pet pages and lookups.
* Make sure you take a look at the new Symol Day Poems on display in the gallery
* Now Neopets can celebrate Symol day by wearing this Symol Hat from the Clothing Shop.

* If your Neopet is acting a bit bored today, you might pick up one of these new Symol themed toys from the Toy Shop
* Congratulations go out to Doriix, 0o_Snowbell_o0, and Meerca! Each has proven spiffier than the rest in the Customisation Spotlight. Voting for this week's contest has begun. Good luck to this week's entrants!

Righting himself with a flourish, the red-faced Grarrl marched past the guards with overblown dignity, nodding gravely to either side.

Does Symol Day mean there's a better chance of having something happen at the Symol Hole?

I don't like the symol hat. I wish they would just release mroe normal looking hats, some of us don't want our pet to appear as if something is eating its head.
And the darigan symol is horrible. It is awkwardly drawn and what the heck is going on with its head? Seriously? Total fail. And it is odd because I rather like the tyrannian symol, which is pretty much a redraw too. My theory is that there are three good artists and then one who is bad and just tries to wing it but all of their stuff turns out to be dung.
And also, I rather like the hissi that won the customization spotlight this week. I mean, there are only so many combos one can do with the limited options we have, but the hat was a nice touch. The kyrii though wouldn't have gotten a rating higher than 4 from me though.

Yep, agreed.
On a similar note, I've decided to give anyone who uses dung in their entry a 1. Honestly, it's just so rancid and overused for my tastes, even if it is used creatively (but is that even possible?)
