I will be posting another screenie about the new game windows and the Pound in a few minutes...
EDIT: The first post has been updated

Well, it's good to know that the pound is going to be available again soon. That's one thing down.
As for releasing forgotten items - that'll never happen. There are more than 1000 unreleased items now on neopets - having them all added at once will do one thing and one thing only: confuse EVERYBODY. It'd be much easier to say, "You know all that crap we said we released but never did? It's all been deleted, and been purged from news pages. These are not the droids you're looking for."
As for games display windows: I know why they've done what they've done. I just think it's a terrible idea.

That's good to know! And I personally find server moving (or failure or whatever
) understandable at least. Though warning us about it would have been great. Ever read through the old news? Especially in the early years, they warned people when they were moving things or updating servers/databases.

Yeah, it
would cause mass chaos if they did it all at once. But they
could add them in slowly, starting with the oldest stuff first. Even over the course of several months, and then they should figure out a way to prevent that kind of thing...lol

I don't think premium people should get the pound before we do. Many people were in the process of transferring a pet that dark day that it went down. Many people are honestly hoping to be able to get their pet, but lets be realistic, that just ain't going to happen! Hopefully, the people have had a year to get over the loss, but still, I feel sorry for anyone expecting to get their pet, because when the pound opens they have like a snowball's chance if it is painted or has good stats or a nice decent name.

There have been many boards on Charter debating on whether this is good or not. I don't think that Premium users will be able to actually adopt pets, but maybe just see what it would be like (kind of like when people beta tested NC Mall)

Hey, I just noticed they said something similar about the glitches in the editorial:
Hi TNT, why is Neopets having so many glitches lately? We have been migrating our servers to a new datacenter, which between the pickup trucks, hail storms, and the sandwich bits that fell into the servers there have been a few problems.

I saw that board in Charter earlier in the day, even screenied it to post here, but I forgot to!!!
Anyway, the Editorial has a little more info as well:

Gee, sounds like they are actually moving the whole Neopet Headquarters some other place. The actual building neopets is in isn't very big anyway. I saw it on Google Earth once, and you'd never know it was Neopet Headquarters.

Just another quick comment. But it just makes me really happy to see staff interacting with users.

TNT only moved a few years ago. I wonder what the big shake up is this time?

Well, it's now owned by Viacom - they probably want to have more direct control over the operation. I'd be surprised if they didn't have a regional headquarters with all sorts of space to move staff into.
Let's also not forget the possibility that the facilities in TNT headquarters might not be able to hold as many new servers as they'd want to install, or their lease ran out, or any one of a number of things.

Thinking about it, it seems that only the servers are being moved, so hopefully they are going to a bigger location which will mean more (and better) servers for Neo.
Neo certainly has grown!!

I hope not. I would like to see the pound open to everyone at the same time (although I don't want the site to crash once the pound is back up
) I can't believe that it's been a year since the pound has gone down. Madness TNT!
