I have a Whinny Stained Glass Window. I can't figure out how much it is worth. I only found 1 in someone's gallery. There are none in the shop wizard, auctions and the one in the trading post is mine. Someone contacted me to buy it but they want to know what I want to sell it for and I have no clue. Any ideas anyone? Any clue as to when this came out? Thanks.

I usually use JellyNeo's item database.
http://items.jellyneo.net/I didn't see a value on the page... so I'll go with the age old adage: it is worth only what someone is willing to pay. Have you tried putting it up for auction and seeing what people are willing to bid?

So far all I have done is put it up for trade. I got 2 offers, one of 100,000, one of 500,000 and someone just wrote saying how much do you want. I was hoping that if I could find out when this was actually released I could figure out how rare this really is. If it has been out for months and only 2 exist it should be more expensive. At least I think so.
I'll check out jellyneo to see if they have any info at all about it. Thanks.

It seems to come very rarely out of the Symol Hole. But I can still find no value. Try this: find an item,
any other item, that has no function whatsoever, except to look pretty in a gallery (like your stained glass window). So no BD item, no book,... Find one that there are only one to three or four of. This should give you a rough estimate. Maybe compare to the current price for a Strange Glowing Disk (though that would be well under the offered 500K). But it's about the same: a rare item that has existed for months, only 3 exist, and more will slowly find their way into the economy.

There's more than 2 in existence; try refreshing when doing a gallery search. There are at least 24 that I counted with only a few refreshes.
But it'll still be hard to price. The truth is, it has no price right now. Value is established only after someone decides how much they are willing to part with for it, i.e. your highest offerer. So if someone's asking you for a price, tell them you had a 500k offer, and if they'd like to go higher. If you don't like any of the offers, hang on to it until you see more up for sale. That's a gamble though.
pardona_ii: It's not a useless item, it's Neohome furniture which can go for extremely high prices to those going for the Spotlight.

Thanks. Someone sent me a neomail telling me it was worth 10 - 20 million. I don't know if that is correct, but I am going to test the waters.

10-20 million sounds kind of high, even for a Neohome item. Maybe try asking for a price check on the Trading/Auctions boards or the Neohome boards?

I agree, 10-20 million sounds high and I usually consider Neohome items to be hard to sell so I think it would be difficult to find someone willing to pay that much.
I also agree with metalmario's suggestion, telling people who ask you for a price that you have someone willing to pay 500k.

I am having the same trouble in trying to find a value for Kau Kau Farm Soy Milk. Anyone know the value of that?

There are several of them on the trading post, 3 of them priced at 300k

A word of advice about using the neoboards for price check - NEVER say that you are the one selling it! This will attract the attention of annoying people who try to talk you down and tell you that your item is worth less, while simultaneously harassing you with neomail offers. D:
Instead, say that you are the one being offered the item, or that you are intending to buy the item. That way, people will be more honest when giving price quotes.
