Frozen for years...

Wed Jul 02, 2008 7:58 pm

I've been trying to get my account unfrozen for YEARS now. Yep, years!

My account was frozen because 'This was one of multiple accounts being used by the same user to generate neopoints'.

Problem is I didn't have another account at the time. Nor have they ever been able to tell me what the supposed 'other' account's username was that I supposidly had was. I had a really good account, why would I screw it up and get it frozen. Why would I then also spend years trying to get it back. (sigh) Why? Because I know I'm right. I had my account frozen for no reason.

What I think happened... I had just found and adopted a nice/good pet from the pound. (This was before you could 'trade' pets). I think the original owner (who was trying to sell/transfer the pet to someone else), reported me. :(

Now all I get is that 'The account is to old to be reactivated' form letter. Which I know code and know my account is still there. My pets still can be looked up and reference to the frozen account. Anyone know what to try at this point? I'm thinking my next step is to actually call them. (Sigh)

What also upsets me is I had a nice friends list on the account. I had been 'big sistering' a girl, and then one day I'm 'gone'. I always wonder/worry what happened to her, but can't remember her account name for the life of me.

EDIT: Heck my neopet house is still there even if I look it up. And they can't re-active the account. *removed*

MayEdit: Please do not double post. If you were the last to post and you have something to add, please use the handy "edit" button in the lower right corner of your post. Also, as this is a family site, please do not use abbreviations for curse words. Thank you :)

I think it's too late to get it unfrozen :(

I hate to say it, but I agree with Siouxper on this. If you've been trying to get your account unfrozen for "years" and TNT still hasn't, I don't see why they would change their mind this year. I'm afraid it may be time to move on and make a new account.

Group's right on this one.

They would have no way of confirming your story as I doubt they even have the IP logs going that far back--especially with the change in ownership.

If you have your own access records from that long ago you can try and submit those, but that's about all you can do. (Unless you really want to raise a stink and go up the corporate ladder..)
