hey i thought u get to train for free on you pet day but i cant? what do u get for pet day then???

You can train a pet for free on their pet day at the Swashbuckling Academy only.
Make sure your pet is not enrolled at Mystery Island, and also that you didn't select the training before the actual pet day. (If you did, just cancel the training and try again.)

Your pet also has to be under level 40 to use the Academy in the first place.
*grumbles that none of her pets ever get to participate on their special day*
