NC gift box question...

I apologize if this has been asked before but how do you use a nc gift box and can you gift a gift capsule with it?

I need to know because there's a NC item on my secondary neopets account that I want to move to my main and I was thinking about buying a $10 card to gift myself 1) the item I want along with 2) a red mystery capsule

From what I understand, any NC Mall item can be gifted using a Gift Box; so if you redeemed a $10 card on your side, you could use the first box to send over the item you already have, and the second to gift the Mystery Capsule.
