I'm not sure what you have to do for the avatar, but I'm fairly certain I found the "trick," if you can call it that.

Neopets Merchandise! I was impressed (and grossed out) by some of the food items they made, but a bit disappointed by the Esophagor trash can. The captions were clever. It just... wasn't going to fool anyone. I prefer to see the panic ensue. And the interactive parts of recent years were fun, but this was just... a bunch of caption contests released at once. Meh. They were clever, just not April Fools material. I realize how difficult it must be to come up with a unique, new prank every single year. But they could have done something with the new battledome. Or the obelisk. A fake prize shop would have been awesome.

EDIT: Well, never mind them. It looks like spoiler tags broke, too. Hopefully that will be fixed soon and the tags will start working again.

I'm really disappointed... I really like the Neopets merchandise they sold before, and it's kind of a rub in the face, knowing that it's very unlikely that they will bring back merchandise. Oh well.

The Starter Set got my blood pumping, I will not lie. If they made a Neopets d20, I would buy it.
