Armi, yep, that's true. There have been a few "That's not fair" rants because of the premium sidebar. I do have it, I don't use it. Of course, there was commotion about the premium avatar -- that did calm down a little when it was learned that the avi doesn't count toward your total on your lookup.

I have 2 sidebars, the premium and the maraquan. Only have that because it was the least expensive war "prize". Otherwise, to be honest, I could care less about any of the "secret" sidebars. I've yet to see any benefit from them and they slow the site page loading down. Though I will say the artwork on them is really spiffy!

The only thing this is good for is either people who do want to/have been able to collect sidebars (bragging rights). Otherwise, it's unnecessary and a pain for those of us with special shields having to be on our toes to keep adjusting them every time they add something else to the lookups.

Premium has their own sidebar?

I got premium... all I have is Yellow and Maraqua.....

psyco, you have to refer 5 people to premium and they have to stay - not just sign up for the 15 day free trial then leave. If you get 5 paid referrals, then you'll get the avatar (4th referral) an then the sidebar (5th referral).

Of course, with so many people able to refer, and people who've been on premium even just a little longer, they're now adding 10 more referrals. Getting people who want to join is tough! I still have 12 referrals myself.

Ah gotcha. I've just been on premium for about a month now, so still getting used to some of it.
