That is true.

You can send items to people without them being your neofriend.

Rumours are always flying around. It's always good to be careful, but don't always believe everything you hear. Getting a NeoFriend request means very little, besides the fact that people are either idolising, scamming, attempting to freeze or beg you. It does not mean that you are on TNT's hitlist.

That is true.

You can send items to people without them being your neofriend.

The reason people have their nf requests blocked is because there is an option in site preferences to select "Only Neofriends Can Give You Items". And some people were deliberately sending people duped items to get them frozen, if you have been careful with your nf making then the people still able to send you stuff with that option on are trustworthy anyway.

I wouldn't worry about getting nf requests though, people can't do anything anyway unless you accept the request
