To Whom This May Concern:
My name is James removed. I am from removed, North Carolina and my NeoPets account is Nagora. This account was frozen on or around Tuesday, October 10, 2006. I received a reply from Heidi saying that I was frozen because I was scammed. This is not true. I did not give out my password to anyone. I ran a PetPage that listed daily links where users could receive around 15,000 NeoPoints a day. Many users used it and I received around 6000 page views a day! I received a few gifts from users and decided to change my shop to a donation shop. I had items such as snowballs, bit of barbed wire, etc. in my shop for around 1000 NeoPoints. Surprisingly, users actually donated NeoPoints. Feeling generous, I started a ‘Random Act of Kindness’ thing. I selected one person from everyone who bought from my shop, and gave him or her a few rare items. I received around 10-20 NeoMails informing me that this was against the rules. Flabbergasted, I immediately removed this part from my PetPage and e-mailed the Neopets Support. I also asked for some users who visited my site to send in a question to the editorial asking if this was all right. When the Neopian Times came out, sure enough, Ms. Donna had answered my question. I learned that this was in fact a form of scamming! I removed everything on my PetPage that had anything to do with my shop. Then, about three days later, I came home from school and was logged out. I was sort of worried, but hoped that maybe my cookies were somehow cleared. When I logged in, I was presented with the police Chia stating that my account was frozen. There was no reason why on the frozen page. I do not understand why I frozen because it says that I was scammed. I was not scammed and never gave out my password. Here is an excerpt from Heidi’s e-mail:
“Your account was frozen due to one (or more) of the following three reasons: 1) You voluntarily gave your username and password to a password scamming page while attempting to gain neopoints or items; 2) You voluntarily gave your username and password away to a scammer over an instant messaging service or an email in an attempt to gain neopoints, items, trophies, or avatars; or 3) You attempted to download a cheat program that stole your username and password.”
1) I did not give out my password and did not try to gain NeoPoints or items through a scam
2) I do not talk to any friends that play Neopets over IM or e-mail. Also, I did not give out my password to gain items, trophies, or neopoints. I did use a popular trophy guide and followed the directions to get my Snowfight and the Cheat trophy.
3) I did not download anything that was Neopets related except for your toolbar, from your site.
I think that this is not fair. I have played Neopets for over 74 months! I had four great pets and took great care of them. I actually looked forward to coming home and logging on Neopets. Please think about unfreezing my account, or at least respond back with a valid reason of why my account is frozen. I haven’t received any warnings that I can remember. I am always helping out on the Help boards with faerie quests, questions, etc. I was only trying to be kind to people that were kind to me. I was not aware that giving out rare items was against the rules, but when I did find out I immediately removed it!
My account name is Nagora. The registered e-mail address at the time of it being frozen was removed. The e-mail address registered to it before that was removed. My birthday on Nagora is removed. I adopted TohruMaho on removed 2006. I created NHRMC and NHHN and painted them shortly after. CantTouchThis was adopted from the pound. I had approximately removed NeoPoints in my shop till. I had many stocks. I mainly bought them at 1000 shares for 15 NeoPoints. I recently sold 1000 stocks for around 60. I did have many NeoMails in my Inbox saying things such as ‘thanks for the site!’. I had around 10 Neofriends. I did not know any of them personally so I may have more. I recently joined an avatar guild. There were a few trades that were successfully completed in the past few weeks. removed
I hope this is enough information to verify that I am in the owner of Nagora. There are a lot of people out there that were upset that my page was taken down, and that I was frozen. I went on the Help Boards soon after finding my account frozen, and I say people discussing it. I am truly sorry for any troubles I have caused The Neopets Team, and hope that you all can forgive me for anything I may have done. If my account was mistaken for another, then that is fine. Just please unfreeze it! I loved playing Neopets. I have seen Neopets add new worlds, start their first wars, get new pets, heck I have even been a member when Neopets was barely known. I love buying pets from Limited Too and got some from McDonalds; however, if my account remains frozen, then you have lost one very loyal costumer.
I would love to be contacted by mail or e-mail. You may e-mail me (preferred) at removed If you would prefer to contact me by mail, then please send the letter to:
