So, for the last two weeks, I have been totally unable to click on the link at the top of the neopets page that reads, "New Event! Neomail from..." trading post notifications, and other events.

Am I the only one?

And, if so, can someone post the link to the event inbox page?

That's the link to the event page. I haven't been able to click any of those top links (above the navigation bar). I can't click on any events. Your username should take you to your lookup. I can't click on my username. Your Neopoints should take you to your inventory. I can't click on my Neopoints. And I can't click the "Logout" button in the upper right corner, so I'm logged in all the time.

Shapu, you are not alone. I can click on it while in my main account (premium) but not while in my guild account (not premium). I only use firefox, but what's weird is that I know others who are non-premium firefox users that are having no trouble at all. Here is the link for the events: http://www.neopets.com/allevents.phtml

And the only way I can log out of my guild account is to go into firefox, view my cookies and delete the neopets.com cookie that has the name neologin.

EDIT: Oops, I see that mayan already gave you the link.

Tested made this fabulous set for me!!! Isn't it great?

Do you all have an altered css file?
Like in firefox, if you have chromedit, you can go to tools and edit user files and userContent.css (or just find userContent.css on your computer) and if you wrote stuff there to block neopet banner ads like div#ban { display: none !important; }etc. if you delete all that stuff, save the .css file, close your browser and then reopen it. You should be able to click on the top neopet links.. At least I could:)
I don't know what particular line in my .css file was causing me grief though. Do you know if the other firefox people with no trouble have any banner ad blocking code in their css file?

Edit: Actually I see on this thread there's some codes you can try in in your css file to block the banners.

I don't recall editing my usercontent.css file recently, but I'll check.

Thanks for the links, y'all.

Shapu, it does appear that TNT's sytem is messed up right now. Not only am I having a problem getting events on my guild account, but having problems on my main account, as well. I am premium and stealth, yet showing up on my friends' Neofriends modules, but some of them (also premium and stealth) are showing up on mine while other premium stealth friends aren't. I hope that Neopets gets the bugs fixed soon. Cause it is getting rather annoying.

I cant click on my Username, NP, Logout and Neopets logo either. Been for about more than 2 weeks now. So I've been logging out by clearing cookies. If I'm lucky, some page I'm able to click on the event, but once I go to the next page, it doesnt work again.

As it got to do with the ad-block?? My top bar is half of what it's suppose to be. I use the step as here: http://www.pinkpt.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 85&#447985

But, when I upgraded firefox, there's no compatibility with Chrome Edit, so it's uninstalled right?? I dont know because there's no change in how Neo appear to me. But when I try the step in another computer, Chrome Edit doesnt install because of the non compatible thing but the top bar shows as full, and I can click on the events from the other computer...

:peace:

I believe it is an "invisible ad". A error in the coding that means the Premium members are unaffected as their premium status removes anything that is marked as being an ad by Neopets, but causes strife for practically everybody else. They mentioned in the editorial a while back, and complemented the questioner on their fine question asking skills, and claimed they'd look into it, but nothing thus far.

I blame the new layout :P

I just cleared my UserContent.css file and now everything works fine. I suggest everyone else having trouble, try doing that. I then went in and added some new things based on the new site coding, and everything still works fine. And for those people using Firefox, the old ChromeEdit add-on has a new version called ChromeEdit Plus. I suggest downloading that :)

Mayanspypilot, I'm going to try what you suggest, but I was wondering if you could list the new things you re-added back to your UserContent.css file? It would be ever so helpful to me! :)

Looking to buy Snowbunny Stamp and Sticky Snowflake Stamp. If you're selling, please PM me!

Yeah, me too. I don't want to see any ads, but I also want my topbar to be half-sized all the time (like it always is on userlookups) -- I don't want the huge blank space at the top of my screen. (I use Firefox, btw.)

Edit: Nevermind, just use the css SierraRaven posted here. :) It worked great for me.
