I have been on holiday for nearly 3 weeks and when i came back i noticed a new plot had started

I agre I want to wast my time doing something or I can stay here and refresh until you post it rosiesh there is nothing to do until you read the comics and when you do you will get the SICKNESS

6 splits and we've stilll yet to call it a plot. Really there's nothing to be done. It's simply the boat comes along. We learn a little more about the story. Boat leaves. Repeat.

Rosiesh: You've read the comics? Now you wait. Just like everybody else. Unless you want to try and figure out a combo that will work in the Chef's pot. But I think that's too much of a hassle.

See, you're a bit confused. Orrin never said he specifically saw Hoban fall off the ship. Orrin said he heard a scream and saw SOMEONE fall off a ship. Since Hoban is the only crew member gone, it's safe to assume that the person(?) that fell off the ship is Hoban. Don't get Orrin's words twisted!

um... i'll uh, take that as a "no". lol. well, i'd better go to sleep, i've got a 10 AM chem class tomorrow that i CAN'T miss... sigh... good luck figuring out combos, everyone that's trying...

I think we need to analyze the comic to find out who is lying. I have several theories of who is not telling the truth. There are many inconsistensies (probably wrong spelling) between the stories.

Well you know that way I see it...everyone is lying....all of them are trying to hide some part of the story. Also each one helps to develope the story by giving certain little details. Take the most recent for example...Linae's tile was taken (raises the q: who took it, and to what ends?) also we are told that Anshu goes below deck...from what i remember those were never mentioned before.
About the art of the comics...I would not question them too much. There are MANY artists at Neopets HQ and I am certain they are all pitching in here. However Hoban's emotion/body language does seem to change perhaps this is slightly intentional. Realisticly everyone would remember his emotions a lil differently but would generally remember the clothes the person was wearing.

Any story that was witnessed by several people is going to have a personal slant given to it with each retelling. That said, I do believe most if not all of the people ...pets...on that ship have something to hide. And I do believe there's something to Hoban's changing body language in each comic, not just a fluke of different artists. But only time will tell if I'm right.

The thing about it is...the ship disappears and reappears and we have a comic to read each time it lands, that's it. Nothing happens during the few days it's "docked". It just sits there, exactly the same, and we play Koujong and speculate about Hoban's mental state until our brains explode. *gnaws on the non-plotness of this plot*

well, maybe TNT didn't really expect us to think so much at this point in this plot yet - maybe we will be told what to do soon by TNT....haha...so optimistic, huh?...maybe...
