By clicking on the Gypsy Camp in the Halloween index.

Which page is that? :(

Ahh, thanks. For some reason I thought that was part of the Spooky Petpets shop...

when they are working

Is the sight (not just the plot) down for anyone else? Could this possibly(sp?) be good

Oooh.. sounds like they're having serious problems :(

Maybe they should release big plot parts in sections, like making it only available to usernames a-g, h-p, etc. for 6 hour blocks each day or something like that..

that wouldnt be fun, cause with my neo name, I'd be in the last group to particiapte.

I just want to know if TNT is working on the problem, since it's the weekend and...well...they don't usually work on the weekends, IIRC. That message that I get when I try to go to the camp has been there since yesterday. I blame TNT for highly publicizing this plot. If they weren't so bent on having more people complete the plots (thereby making the prizes worth less and the trophies not as flashy), then maybe their site wouldn't crash as much. Hmph. Now I'm mad at TNT. -__-

I think that would be unfair. What if your time was from midnight till 6 the morning. As much as i want to participate in this plot sleep comes first

But you also have to remember, they're trying to up the user participation, so they didn't really expect this big of a turn-out for the plot. And as a post has already said, twice, that programmers are only leaving for half-hour increments every once in awhile and that's probably to get clothes from home and grab something to eat. TNT is trying to get this up, it may take awhile, especially if it's database issues, but they are trying. That's more than can be said about many other internet pet sites.

If you reeeeeaaaaaaalllly wanted to know that badly, you might have taken all this time we are all waiting to check past recent posts of intermittent messages regarding the details of working on such a project.

Did TNT highly publicize this? I mean the links are all over the front page and neo-news but it is not like the Altador Cup advertised on TV is it?

Also, I think it might merely be a matter of underestimated amount of users and lack of space and some minor or even major glitches. But I don't find that a reason or excuse to complain about something that takes more hard work than you can possibly realize right now. The programmer was there all day regular work hours on Friday and after until Midnight! That same person has been working ALL DAY Saturday and after 10 PM NST on this Saturday to work out whatever problem they are having.

Sorry to sound so bitter, is nothing personal, but I am also sick of hearing complaints when I know, and even if I didn't know, could imagine TNT not 'neglecting' us on a weekend that they also planned to bring us fun.

They are hard working human beings, some respects please!

I am not even a programmer, but somehow I FEEL THEIR PAIN!

Alright everybody, lets form a circle and visualize those vines. With the power of belief we can bring the plot back! Also lets try to send mental vibrations containing 'coffee energy' to the programmers to help them stay up and finish the work. :-) (just kidding... they should get sleep if they need it)

I echo this. Personal knowledge here, being a programmer can be hard work! Plus database issues can be a huge pain to solve. It's not as simple as people think it would be.

As for complaining....well, it's not really doing anything, ya? So we should probably be going something like "Yes! We can at least read the comic!".

Ditto to that. Programming is hard work, especially with programs as complicated as this one is. I REALLY hope they've got more than one guy on this, though... it can't be healthy to have the progress of an entire plot riding on one person who's been working for hours straight.

wolfmaiden - yeah, I'd be one of the last to participate too.. didn't think about that.

.SaturnJuniper - it could be times that change every day

yeah.. I guess it's a stupid idea

Didn't they do something kind of like that for NQI? Any ancients here remember when durring peak hours, NeoQuest would be down?

On a side note, fixing a database is hard. I've taken one of many programming classes to get my degree, and that has honestly been the hardest class I've ever taken. And that was just an into to programming.

The syntax and codes aren't that easy. My experiance with HTML (not a programming language, but still lol) helped a little. I feel for these programmers, because it's hard.
