I'll add my agreement to that .
The site itself I'm gonna hold off on final judgement till this promised monday thing hinted in the news. But I"ve never Liked boxes every where web sites. And I'm so thankful my mouse has side scroll. Aside from the redraws being the redraws I don't like how my pets pics are now so much smaller.

Please be aware that you are using beyond the recommended at the 'normal' resolution. This is NOT neo's fault they are going with the majority of peoples screen resolution. I personally have been looking at a clump of white on the right of my screen for a long time at Neo. So please realize the scrolling is because of a choice YOU have made not because of neo's choice.

The difference is that you could still USE Neopets at a higher resolution. With the current design, people in lower resolutions are EXTREMELY disadvantaged because a good third of the page isn't visible at all times. And if Neopets wanted to make it for the current most-used res, they could've EASILY created one for a bigger resolution as well.

Second anyone who is disowning there pet because they are now ugly. Or canceling there paid account stop being silly! Neo even stated in the news that they are going to have some kind of choices they even admit they don't like the look of the new pets.... my theory on that is that they are going to offer both ways of looking at the pets. (like how when in beta you could set your pet to customization or not) So Geeze don't be silly!
Okay now on to other things I have noticed and i personally think should be changed or at least
- I think the old yellow nav 'scroll' needs to go on any page it is still left on.
- World map and any other type map should now fit into the entire viewable white area no reason for it not to. There should also be no text above maps obviously we can see it's a map
- Since everything is now divided into modules I would like to see the left sidebar customizable. If it is divided as other sites this should easily be an option.
- Also the old sidebars had pictures that continued on down the side.... I would like to see that returned seems stupid for it to be gray behind my left modules
- A 'homepage' should be made able too. Again everything is in modules this should be a decently simple process.
- Speaking of the modules I think the design would be much nicer if everything wasn't trapped in a dang box. We don't need the lines around the boxes
- modules should also be the same size left and right or full boxes that go the size of the page so if/when we can customize our pages it will be a bit easier.
Mostly however i see this makeover as good. Everyone who is thinking they did this because its big market and 'for the kids' look at any other site today YES they are the same. WHY? Because coding has changed people computers have changed they did this change to 'get with the times' not 'get with the kids'
Yes this layout will seem strange for awhile But basically everything is still there and realize that the new layout is technically in BETA so if you have a comment about how it looks let neo know. Personally I know Neostaffers read the boards here and on neo so I'm just putting my thoughts here. But overall remember times change would you seriously like it if nothing on neo ever changed? Would you really want the 'Original' pets? I doubt that so remember change happens don't reject everything because its new. Note what you do like about it and tell them also tell what you don't like. I'll admit I didn't read every page of these threads but i really am seeing a lot of people with the simple 'Eww i don't like it!' give it a chance browse the site and tell what you think to tnt or post it on the boards where it will be seen.
But anyhow for now those are my pennies

Please be aware that you are using beyond the recommended at the 'normal' resolution. This is NOT neo's fault they are going with the majority of peoples screen resolution.
