Beautiful! thank you very much!

I finally made it to the last level and now it froze up, AAA is stuck in mid air, changing from shield to helmet repeatedly. Anyone else have this happen? All I have is Safari, and am unwilling to install anything else just to beat this dumb game.

YES! And I'm using Firefox! In my case though, he's just stuck walking in mid-air, but you can still click on and activate the tools, except for the spring. But he can't jump and won't go any further, and neither will the guard!

*kicks stupid game repeatedly* I can beat it!! Just LET ME!! :x

EDIT: Okay, it's happened three times in a row now. This is ridiculous. I'm submitting a bug report, and hope against hope that this gets fixed by tomorrow night. Which sucks because NOW is when I have the time to play this game. Tomorrow night, not so much.

Arrgh stupid holes in the ground on the last level. I'm finally getting there with some regularity but those damn holes are killing me.

When I first started playing I HATED the game, but now that I'm more comfortable with it I don't think it's too bad. Granted, I didn't have any performance issues. As the slow movement of either of the two siblings was a little annoying, at least it made it easier to watch ahead on the right side of the screen for the helmet in case it was behind a tall stack of blocks.

Don't know if this is the case for anyone else, but my main hangup while trying to play tended to be hitting the wrong key on the keyboard (talk about a depressing loss of a life). I found it easiest to use two hands on the keyboard, left hand for the shovel, bubble, and spring, and right hand for helmet, shield and little jump (spacebar). It divided the mental processing I had to do about which one to click and it's a fairly even breakdown of using each hand (ie, always want to keep the spring available later on but you want easy access to the shield and the helmet too and usually for those (shield/helmet) its an either/or situation - great setup for level 5).
Then I practiced using Abigail for awhile, leaving my fingers in place even if I hadn't gotten the tool yet. After making it fairly reliably to mid-level 5 with Abigail, I switched to using AAA and the game wasn't near as painful as it used to be.

W00t!!!!!

Took all freaking day but finally got through this.

I know I am usually silent on game topics, but this was a very fun Daily Dare. I love this event when it is going. I highly agree that it was a pain with it and the Plot at the same time, but I really liked this Event.

Unlike the rest of you, I am only getting Uberiffic since I am horrible at some of the challenges. Best of luck to everyone who still has to finish and congrats to those that are already done.

Hi everybody,

Yes, I'm new! I had to register because this darn game is giving me fits.

Whenever I click "Accept challenge", Roothless talks for a bit, and then it returns me right back to the accept / decline challenge page!! I can not get into the game :x

I think it's a glitch, but maybe I'm doing something wrong?

edit: n/m, found a dungeon dash petpage here http://www.neopets.com/~Oridius that was helpful.

the answer is you close your window and go back to it in a new window and it has accepted your challenge! Now to try the game :o

Have you finished all of your other challenges? I believe that you can't challenge Roothless until you've passed all of the other 29 challenges.

That's similar to my key strategy. I had my left hand on X through B with four fingers, as well as the space bar with my thumb, leaving the N key to my right hand. For some reason it made the most sense to me, though I did have a bit of trouble getting my right hand comfortable without resting it on the space bar...lol

(I also tried simply shifting my hand down a set of keys, but that messed with my brain too much...;))

GAH! 4879pts

There, everything beaten, on the hardest difficulty, on the first day. Congrats to everyone else who managed it.

Ice Cream machine only took a few tries, but I didn't like Dungeon Dare. It kept dropping my helmet or shield after a drop off a tall set of locks so I would miss it. I suppose I should have used the shovel more.
Using the shovel on the Destruct-o-Match stage (on the explode blocks) is fun though.

That sucks severely. ~:>

Level 5 is doing my head in. The holes in the deck are instadeath, right? But the spikes on the boxes... Abigail jumps when she hits them with the bubble on. What's going on there? How am I supposed to get past a spike followed by a hole in the deck? There's no way to put the brakes on so she doesn't bounce off the spikes straight into the freakin' hole. :x (Thanks for your help, butterflygirl!)

EDIT: I take it back. Even more annoying than the holes in the deck is the fact that the Restart button is in the same place as the tool buttons, so that if you are in the habit of clicking repeatedly on a particular tool, you FINISH THE GAME and then accidentally restart instead of sending your FREAKIN' SCORE.

I want my mum...

ANOTHER EDIT: Ohthankfrog. Finally finished using the keyboard, pressing almost every key wrong. My secret? Erm.... luck.

Moral support for everyone. You can do it!

You can press jump with the bubble without canceling it, just not the spring jump. And the auto jumping, I can usually manage to get it to happen twice on one set of spikes hoping to land on the ery last corner and get enough lift to clear the hole. I've also heard that the bubble will get you past the holes, but I didn't ever try it.
