Well my cartoon styled art doesn't look like that. I do think they over cuteify (If thats a word) everything. Like baby pets, I loath them. But I can at least get away from them but when your kougra or Lupe's got this huge baby style head and goo goo eyes you can't really see him as a warrior
So? If it bugs you so much, then paint your pet something less "cute"... like Darigan or Robot or Mutant.
Personally, I like the new style... and I for one would much rather paint my pet Baby or Plushie instead of Mutant or Robot. And that's the point, with the exception of the Lab Ray, you can control what colour your pet is.
And if, for instance, you don't like the way the new lupe looks, you can always morph into something more "threatening" like a Jetsam (or a Chia... those things scare the hell out of me
).

The Lodge was removed because it was 'too gory' for their younger players...
That's odd. I was under the impression that it was removed because it was so old and no longer relevant. Then again I was also under the impression they were replacing it with something and they haven't yet so we'll see

In the new neopedia article an ixi is going to have her shop up there. But it never says what the shop is going to be. It would be funny if it were the opposite of a shop...you know...a buy back shop...

The Ski Lodge was too gory? Sheesh, it was only the fake 'murders' of Staff Members. Although I do have to admit that the idea of 'videos' for Sacrificers was disturbing (I don't think I've seen the worst of them; actually I only viewed Number Six's travel down the river, but it was rather weird in itself). So perhaps it's best they took them off (they were quite old), but I wouldn't think they would be too gory, other than the videos.
I do think a new shop on Terror Mountain is a good idea. It does appear that they will add it, as the Neopedia article didn't really have a good closure. I wonder what it will sell?

yeah.. that story rocked! and the acara and the lupe decided to go there and have fun at the park ALL day, but make sure that they get out of there by midnight.... then they'd be fine.... the lupe checked his watch and said "oh, its only 11:50, well be fine".. and a few minutes later, the lupe checked and said "yup, well make it out in time, its only eleven fifty-ffff....." and it turned out, his watch had stopped. the gates swung closed.
and we dont know this, but we can pretty much figure out that they will be tortued and clawed at and digested. Yum!

A buyback shop would be really cool. In a lot of other online games you can sell items back to the shopkeepers. I think that would be an excellent addition to the site.
Ooh! Or even if it was like a pawn shop where you sold items to the shop keeper and then other people could buy them from that store.

Not to mention it would help with hard-to-sell items. That way, you could easily get rid of them.
