Would you honestly want to win 750 million neopoints? Could you ever possibly spend that much? Yeah, you could paint all your pets, buy a fantastic BD set, complete your gallery/collections, obtain formerly unobtainable avatars....but then what? After you've done everything (which, with that amount of money, you could probably do in a day), what's left? The game would just be boring.


I mean, once you're so rich that you can do everything easily, what accomplishment is there to be derived from acheiveing anything?

Are you joking? Of course I wouldn't be bored. It would be so much fun! Are you telling me that saving NP and making due with what you have is really that exciting?

It would take a long time to collect all the stuff that anyone could possibly want. Then after stamp collecting and training pets and creaming everyone in Battledome, then there are neohomes and avatars and sharing NP with friends, gourmet club, book club. Gosh, to really be bored you'd have to not have much imagination.

I agree with Catgrrrrrrl. Even then, if you finish everything that you could possibly collect, there are still things like contests and plots that have little or no relation to neopoints. That's what makes Neo so great--you can have all the neopoints in the world and still have plenty to do to keep you busy and happy.

I agree. I'm all about the rewards. Forget the work. Getting to 750million would be such ridiculous hard work that it would be very...annoying. I definitely would NOT get bored of playing Neopets if I had that much money. Getting money is a pain in Neopets, IMO.

But to the point, someone would have to be REALLY lucky to hit that jackpot. Probably wouldn't be a regular user, probably would have to be a Premium User...then again, if a person did hit the jackpot, then TNT would probably inspect their account A LOT and (possibly) freeze em. *shrug*

Someone has already won the jackpot a while back.. I think it was around 600-700k so I think this is possible. I think tnt are hanging out untill 1 Billion neopoints honestly. They said they would maybe make another competition that gives that out.

Thats very easy to spend. A good bd set OR maybe one third of my gallery could be bought. So you know. 750mill is nothing in terms of expencive items and galleries

But the plan would be to bank it. Collect interest and train and buy weapons on collecting interest.

Wait - decompiling the flash wouldn't tell you anything though, I would think? The prize generator should be all server-side.

I imagine the actual prize-return mechanics will be server side, but it scores out of 100 and decomposing the flash might reveal that it isn't possible to score higher than 99. But even then, they might simply have it work differently serverside to prevent cheating or misguide us, like giving one out of 100 people to score 99 a +1 bonus for the jackpot.


As far as I see, there's two possibilities with any positive probability. Either it's just extremely unlikely, like TNT claims, or it cannot happen and they're lying to keep the game interesting.

I agreed with Dreamer to a certain extent. Yes, I know where you are getting at. However I feel 750mil is not really too much considered how much the items cost (just visit the Hidden Tower), and some weapons could have easily cost few hundred millions. To make your pet stronger, it costs more.

However, at the end of the day, I doubt TNT will give out these amount. It will definitely harm Neopia's economy. In simple term, like everything when too much of something makes the items less value.

What I ment is that I could get like 3/4 of the items in total but the whole is worth about 3 billion neopoints in total. I wouldn't be able to get all the really expencive items and a few ubs with that about of np

1/3 of what all the items are worth together if ever i finish the gallery
