I'm hoping like crazy that they'll be fairly low rarity (r75-85ish, 89 at most). I mean, I love the little panda one, but I don't want to shell out 2 million NP for it even after waiting 6 months for the price to drop.

thats a bit of a high price for a petpet. I mean, I paid 40k for my Tanizard, and who knows how much I can get from the petpets in my safety deposit box

Well, that was an exaggeration to make a point, but I take it you haven't gone shopping for Meepits, Snowickles or Meowclopses (?) lately. 
Seriously, look 'em up on the Trading Post. Petpets worth 1 million NP aren't totally unheard of.
What I'm saying is, I hope they won't be that rare. Most likely not, but you never know...

I understand. But still 1mil and up is a bit much for a petpet. And its tiring to wait for the prices to go down.

They'll probably fall more in the price range of the Ukali, I'm betting. (hoping for the ones I want. ^^' cheaper would be nicer.)

If you do nothing else on Neopets, not even read the news, you should read the editorial each week. Even when there were lots of stupid questions, there'd still be a couple things mentioned there that TNT may never mention elsewhere.

I'm always checking the news. Thats one of my dailyies. Though that might sound odd.....

So, has anyone seen or heard of someone actually getting one of the new petpets?
edit: I just saw the Tomamu but wasn't fast enough so at least it does stock now.

I found out the panda is called Sandan (several at the trade post)
but the pandaphant isnt released yet I assume.. the name still doesnt register yet.
