I'll miss the Rice Balls... Rice Balls are yummy. Rice Balls are cool. Rice Balls were turned into Jelly Doughnuts by 4Kids therefore represent the discontent among Anime fans with them. Rice Balls therefore mean rebellion. Poor Rice Balls. Free Food like that is great if you've been away for a few days and have too little food (like myself) to cover that period. Especially if you have 4 Neopets. o.o;; They go down to 'dying' so quickly these days...

-salutes fallen rice balls-

Hahaha, I remember in Pokemon they'd be all,"OH GREAT RICE BALLS" then later "OH I LOVED THOSE DOUGHNUTS" XD

Sorry, Coca-Cola Japan has been taken off the site, we hope you enjoyed playing it! Why not play some of the other great games Neopets has to offer by clicking the button below!

Coke sponsor has gone as well - you had to pay 5 nps per glass, but I still went there. :)

Bummer, I hate when the free food things die. For a while there you could go to like 3 separate places and feed each pet once without spending a dime.

To anyone worried about CGs in shops: You can put up a bunch of 1np fishing junks into a trade and ask for an omelette. I do that every now and then (because no one ever buys those out of shops and you have to get rid of them somehow) and people usually offer one up pretty quick. :)

Don't cry over losing free food. Last time I checked, you could still get tons from Underwater Fishing. Between that and the Giant Food Stockpiles(omelette and jelly), your pets need never go hungry.

The omelette and jelly together gave me five 'bites' of food, which is enough for four pets. Still, I hope they have something else come up soon! The 7/11 was convenient.

Yes, I loved the convenience of the 7-11 (and I found the fact that they were rice balls amusing) but especially because it's completely free. The cheapest neolodge is 5 NP a day. Let's say your average fish, jelly, and omlette sells for 1 NP. Using them is still cheaper than the lodge, and nearly free, 1 NP is nothing really, but you are still loosing 1 NP a day for each pet you feed, whether you are buying them, or using the ones you get for free, you're still loosing a NP or two by not selling them in your shop, see?

But I've stockpiled a lot of jellies, omlettes and fish, so I'm fine. (If I need more I'll stalk the money tree, I'm still not buying anything because of CGs) But I do hope they add a new sponsor thing to replace the rice balls!

You're not losing anything. You got the food for free. Personally, I consider selling omelettes and jellies to be more hassle than they're worth. If the Giant Food Stockpiles give me stuff I don't want my pets to eat, I donate them rather than selling them. It gets the stuff off my hands fast, and keeps them from taking up space in my shop.
Even if you used up 365 omelettes and 365 jellies in the course of the year, you probably would have made less than a thousand Neopoints selling them; why bother, when you could pay for a year's worth of omelettes and jellies with one level of Hannah and the Ice Caves?
