Same here--my daughter is really good at restocks, but I can't even get a decent plushie when I try (decent meaning one that I could sell for 700nps). I hate having to wait and wait and wait for the restock to happen--I am just too impatient, I guess.
Yet, my daughter gets bored with hunting for items on the wiz. But, she is continually amazed at the deals I come across. I resell anything and everything I find that is underpriced. She calls me a "bag lady" because of the wide variety of stuff in my shop. I guess you have to have a knack for it--and the ability to be bored stiff while pricing the goodies you have come across.

I'm a major supporter of the stock market - but the only problem is that you need to have a decent amount of cash before hand and a lot of time to wait. So it's not so good if you are in need of NP quickly.
But - after you do get some money stashed away I would recommend it.
That way: if you're ever in this position again you'll have a little bit of money invested in stocks and you've [hopefully] made more back.
