The Advent Calendar wearables are very nice today. I don't think I'd use them together, but they are both nice. MLP will be excited about that tree, for sure. The Coffee cup...eh, I could leave it.

Aww, today's was so cute. I had to surrender my cat to the shelter while they waited for an owner to claim her. I visited her there, and she was so scared and miserable, mostly because they don't have enough space for the huge number of animals they have to deal with.

I just hope any families who adopt this holiday really think it through and are in it for the long haul. Many shelters cleared during lockdown, but filled up again with many of those same pets after families went back to work and school and no longer had the time to give them proper care and training.

Oh, I meant after I found her, before I could adopt her. I'm pretty sure she has PTSD from her three days at the shelter (mostly from the very necessary bath and flea treatment). But it was necessary, because I would not have wanted to steal someone else's cat. So many people find an animal and just assume the owner must have been irresponsible, but you can't know that.

Besides, those three days gave me time to find a foster home for her until I could move somewhere where she could live with me.

Ah... Thanks for the clarification. She seems like a fairly awesome animal.
