Glitches are understandable, but when they don't do anything to fix them, that's just stupid. Come on TNT, the advent calendar is supposed to be fun, not disappointing and vexing!

Well, PPT refused to load for me 2 minutes ago, so I just went ahead to the calendar.

...Big mistake. I'm not even getting a prize notice. I guess I just got jipped again.

(Good thing I already have the sidebar, but jeeze louise....)

EDIT: 'K, I went and actually read the thread ( :roll:

*phew* I was really worried. I already have the avatar, so I didn't get anything. I think the animation *really* hints that that's what we'd be getting, but odd that we didn't get an prizes or NP.

I wonder if they'll give everyone who has 'collected' their Advent Calendar gift today the present when (and if) it comes out proper. They should have some way to tell who has and who hasn't collected, right?

On the bright side, they will get on this matter and try to solve it, rather than leave us hanging.. or face the wrath of a couple'o million Neopians. xD

Yes, but it's just speculation and we could never know for sure. Perhaps more people would read it if you had posted it in this thread. In any case, they have played tricks on us before...but usually in the form of the "wand of super nova - NOT" trick.

I did, but I'm still putting my money on a glitch. xD It seems too un-pranky, more of a genuine problem. Knowing TNT and that animation, it's one of those You got a Super Attack Pea! followed by a The Pant Devil Has Stolen Your Supper Attack Pea! things. Maybe a coding mistake's causing the blankness?

Don't worry about today's Advent Calendar. If you don't get anything, dont worry about it. It appears to be a little trick. (We're still unsure, but best guess is a prank) After all, it *is* Adam's birthday today, so he can mess with the site all he wants Wink.

Heh. It's a glitched prank. Which kinda takes the fun out of the prank since people leave wondering "Was I supposed to get something or not?" and general discontent ensues.

Personally, I am leaning towards this being a glitch, with a side of prank-gone-wrong. No, I would not like fries with that

Hopefully it is solved when TNT get into the office and see the mountains of bug reports they are surely getting in their inboxes.

Prank or not, I would like to see this either fixed or clarified - and the glitch from Monday repaired. If all users do not get a prize today, that's one thing, but for half the site to receive an item and the other half to receive 'replace' and an invisible item is just plain frustrating. I don't like to play the "I pay, so I demand perfect service" card, but damn, if I'm giving them money, a working site would be nice.
