I had advent items in my inventory I think but still didn't get the sidebar.

I think the most promising thing so far is having an item with the word snow in it..

Some people {from what I've read} had a bunch of snowballs....speaking of which...I'm going to go and buy a few just in case...

I think my mom might have had an icy snowflake in her shop when she got the winter sidebar. . .

Edit: she said it was in her deposit box. She thinks it has something to do with having an one of each advent item in your shop. Maybe one from each year?

Perhaps you have to have all of the advent prizes in your inventory and nothing else? Can anyone who has the sidebar confirm / disprove this?

You can only carry 50 items, and at 2 gifts per day (minus the Bori Plushie day) for 31 days, that's too many items for you to be carrying around.

It could be something really irrelevant like having fed your pet within 12 hours of going to AC on 31st, or having visited all different worlds of Neopia during last week, or a combination of similar things... I really want that sidebar but I'm not having my hopes up high.
I wish they just told us.

You can only carry 50 items, and at 2 gifts per day (minus the Bori Plushie day) for 31 days, that's too many items for you to be carrying around.

Actually because it's a "prize" item they are rewarded regardless of the number of items you're carrying, so you can hold more than 50 items at a time easily. You just can't buy anything.
