Ehh.. Neotine is reporting that to get the avatar you gotta catch a Giant Squid... So i think it should be true since i have not seen anyone with the avatar neither anyone who caught the Giant Squid..

There are people on the Neoboards claiming they've seen others with the avatar but I am skeptical as they can never produce a username claiming they "didn't think about it at the time". Frankly I find that a little suspicious particularly when talking about avatar collectors (the vast majority would take notice of the only person's name if they're the only one who has the newest avatar).

dont listen to any neo sites saying "reports say you have to catch a squid" or anything like that. Nobody knows until somebody actually gets it and can PROVE it. I could say that its a random event when your pet fishes at midnight and nobody would know any better.... so dont listen to other's solutions as facts.... yet...

Well I am still quite new to collecting avatars, but I have noticed that sometimes the neo fan sites are 100% wrong sometimes. I recall an avatar called collector where someone said that you had to collect 100 stamps to get... (although they were stamps they were a certain version...) and since that wasn't mentioned, I went out and spent 400,000np on 60 random stamps when suddenly my friend told me you only needed about 30 of one type! *uhggg now i'm tired O.o *

*nods* The Neoboards have been driving me insane with this, people act like a simple speculation is the answer, it's annoying and it's misleading when they go around telling others that this is the way to get it.
