Anyway, I really don't like the revamp.
It looks too cartoony, and too...soft. The Acara used to look sort of like a stray cat, fluffy, but you'd sort of be afraid it might bite you. Now it just looks like a pretty, pretty princess. T__T

Quite honestly, I've disliked all the revamps. *shrugs* I just don't have a favorite pet anymore because the style of art all the pets are in doesn't appeal to me.

I like the revamp actually. It certainly makes my lab pet easier to look at. Although I have to say, looking at the acara I finally understand what people are referring to when they talk about tnt's recent trend of using thicker lines. I never really took much notice, but this one jumps out at me for some reason.

TNT should really consider finishing the other pets they "redesigned" previously before moving onto the Acara; I can name the Skunk & Purple Kougras and the Mutant Lupe & Yellow Lupe for starters (just things they didn't quite fix on the redesigning scale).

Personally, if they touch the Tyrannian Acara I'm going to scream. That alone is one of the BEST Acaras out there and I didn't really need to see it over-cutified beyond the disgusting range.

The Checkered Acara and the plain-coloured Acaras are growing on me though, but they could have thought it out a little better - some of the poses are a bit...how can I put this...bland to say the least...

Acaras are my ultimate favoritest super-de-dalks;djas pet, why did they have to touch it, whyyy D: There are other pets in a greater need of a redraw than the Acara, like the Tuskaninny...

The re-draw is okay. There are things I do and don't like about it.
I like how the happy pose looks more than the regular pose of the old and new acara, but I don't like how the lines thickness is so inconsistant, it makes it look really rushed. >_< The old acara had nice lines and nice shading, which made it look like someone getting paid minimum wage did it in 8 minutes....

I just don't like it. The old ones were waaay better in my opinion, or maybe I was just used to it... dunno, it doesn't look ok.

Why the Acara? I really, really DO like the revamp... but they're revamping pets that don't really need it. I mean, the Peophin could really use some 3-D-iffying... it looks so flat (and I love the Peophin. Maybe just some shading would help), same with the Tuskaninny.
Ah well, maybe I'll have to pick up an Acara now. I really like that Brown (which is a first... I generally hate the color brown as a rule).

The think looks a bit too... moved. As if it's going to fall onward any time soon.
And I don't like the lines, they're too pixelized, not fuzzy as in the others.

Hmm.. yes, I think they are too cute too. Don't get me wrong, I love cute cuddly fluffy things but even the Medli has a limit. :O

But seriously, the happy/circle/sad poses for the Acaras are cute, but I don't like the others. I'm still keeping mine, however. I'm sure Faerie is safe.

I really like it. Especially the poses that everyone seems to not like. The only thing that bugs me is the weird colouring on a few of them (the weird lines on the Yellow one's chest, for example).

And whoever said the Pteri doesn't need one. Oh wow. I usually don't care about revamps for pets that I don't own, but the Pteri is the one pet that I feel needs to be over-hauled the most. Right now, it looks so randomly-pieced-together.

I don't like it either, it lost the "genuine" cuteness with more of a "Oooo look at me I have big eyes O_O"

The thing is, TNT has a thing where all baby pets have gigantic heads. And the baby Acara is no exception.
Yeah, I do believe the Acara is another pet gone downhill. And three years from now, they'll revamp it again and make it even more *cuter* and finally will have a gigantic head, huge googly eyes, and extra fluffy fur. x_x
