Yesyesyesyesyes!!! I adopted one of my pets from the pound, and its name isn't capitalized and it drives me bonkers everytime I read it.
Otherwise I'm pretty happy with my pets names... however I'm not a big fan of my username anymore... it has "1337" in it. (It was over 5 years ago, leave me alone.

It's still as impractical an idea as ever.
and WHY did you have to necro a 2 year old thread?
