You know, teh ranks on your High score page (ranging from Beginner to Grand Master). And teh required points to gain advance a rank are also set on 'weird numbers', like 2644 instead of a round 2500.
Yes, that's a new thing too (it was announced at the same time as the NP ratio changing news). They're adjusting the rankings to be based on how EVERYONE does, not just some idea of what's hard and what's not.
It creates a new challenge if that's what you're looking for. I have to say I'm not really concerned with my rankings on games, just payout.
