I did NOT get it....
I did NOT collect every day. Every day but one.
I had the Gobbler petpet (which we got a few days ago from the AC) attached.
All my pets were Delighted! and Satiated.
I had snowballs in my inventory.
I had less than 1000 np on hand.
I had put a bunch of the AC items in my SDB but not all.
So I think we've prolly crossed off the Delighted!/Satiated combo, right? That was what I had my money on, but I guess not. Maybe it really is collecting every day, and the people who got it last year might have thought they didn't get it every day.

okay things I did
collected every day
think I watched all the animations
had snow balls and snowflakes in my inventory
sent 2 snowballs to my sis one wet one sand
gave a person a christmass borie plushie (had picked up an extra)
donate and collected from the money tree
had Taelia the snow faerie avatar active
pets were not all happy my lab pet is unhappy the other three are deligited (2) or joyfull (1)
did get something from tarla's give away
went to the snowagar
had 3,908 neopoints when I went
used scrachcard but don't think I had any from the ice caves (usually play lost desert and a few deserted fairground)
can't rember if I did any snow based games may have played Igloo garage sale
did not read any of the books we got to my pets
have a christmass painted pet a ice bori and a snowbunny attached to the xmas pet all of which I had last year when I didn't get it so I think pet petpet requirements are out unless there's a time componet

woohoo! i got the sidebar this year!
I think they only thing i've done this month is collect advent items every day and play the dailies.
NO snowballs, snowfood, taelia quests, winter games, winter pets, or winter petpets. most of my advent items went straight to my sdb, but i do have a few of the toys in my inventory.

I got it!

-Have dirty and fire snow equipped to one of my pets
-Go to Snowager frequently
-I do donate random (crappy) items to money tree when I clean out my inventory
-I buy Ice Caves scratchcards every day, but I resell them, I never use them.
Inconsistant with a lot of theories that were floating around:
-One of my pets came out of the Neolodge when I wasn't looking and is "Content" and "Very Hungry"
-Had only a few random advent calendar prizes in inventory
-Had no snowballs, gave no one snowballs, did nothing with snowballs all month that I'm aware of
-No snow or Christmas pet, petpet, shopkeeper, or avatar
-Did nothing whatsoever on Terror Mountain this month except the AC.
Oh, and for the record I was using the Altador sidebar.
It really seems like collecting every prize is the most common denominator. On the other hand, I collected every day last year and didn't get it. Maybe the requirements really have changed?

is it me or are the ones that gettin the sidebar not only collecting their advent everyday, but their active pet is delighted? sorry was up all night my brains in the process of a mutiny

Got the sidebar (yay!) and did nothing except go the the AC every morning, and picked some AC items up from the money tree. Have no items whatsoever in my inventory, didn't donate any AC items to the money tree, no winter games...I honestly think you get it if you go to the AC every day.

Nope, my active pet was the one that was "Content" and "Very Hungry."

Didn't get it.
Did the advent every day.... was not affected by any of the glitches.
All of my pets are happy or better.
I didn't do anything before the advent (no dailies, I mean)
I played a game of Ice Cream Machine each day.
My inventory was empty.
I donated to the money tree (just junk) a bunch of times throughout the month, but don't think I did today.

Yay, I got it!
- I had visited the AC every day, collected prizes, and to the best of my knowledge, watched every animation all the way through.
- I changed my shopkeeper from an Island Uni to a Christmas one
- All of my AC items were in my SDB.
- I had two Icy Snowballs in my inventory, although I really don't think that matters since there are people who didn't have any snow items out and still got the sidebar.
- I did NOT have any snow/ice pets or wintery/snow painted petpets.
- I did NOT have a winter-related avatar (for the record, it was the one with Hoban the Navigator in it.) Seeing as how people got it with different avatars, I don't think this is a requirement.
- All of my pets were delighted, and very full except for the Wakster, who was full up. Don't think having your pets in any particular status is a requirement either.
- My Uni played with the Holiday Mystical Tiki Idol, and I know I also played with the Christmas Pirate Krawk Plushie and the Judge Hog Action Figure (older AC prizes) this month. So I don't think playing with your prizes disqualifies you for the sidebar.
- I did NOT sell any of my prizes, donate any of my prizes, put any prizes up for trade, or make any significant contributions to the money tree or the Tombola this months. I did give away some of my prizes, but they were to side accounts for other pets of mine (example, I sent the Snot Cookies or whatever to my spooky-themed account, thinking my Mutant Bruce would like them better than any of the pets on my main.) I didn't give away any prizes to an account that wasn't mine.
- I did NOT play Snow Wars this month.
- I don't think I played any Terror Mountain-related Flash games, either.
- I've been to the Snowager many times this month (it's one of my dailies). But I'm pretty sure I did that last year too, and I didn't get the sidebar then. So much as TNT has stated that there really ARE requirements, I'm pretty sure there's also a portion of randomility in there. I've been going through the posts, writing down what people did and didn't do, comparing...
And really, there's not a whole lot in common. Well, there is, but I mean many of the things people did and didn't do are negating each other. For example, bgryph went each day, watched the animations, and donated items to the money tree... and got the sidebar. I did the exact same things, and did not.
So either the requirements are extremely complex, or there's one or two or three requirements you have to meet... and THEN get lucky.

I have said many times that I believe there is more than 1 requirement and that the requirements aren't so random.
It is a Winter Holiday Sidebar - IMHO the requirements should have something to do with Winter.
All other sidebars have that connection -
Halloween - go at the 'witching hour' of midnight (at least the last minute before).
Valentines - send a valentines card
All plot sidebars - participate in plot.
I thought snowballs and winter games where the key, maybe it is just a little more open - such as the word SNOW or ICY, but in a particular order.
