I have one on a side account with a clever play on a Star Trek character's name but since I'm a bit paranoid about revealing it right now, I'm reluctant to say who or what type of Neopet. All of my pets do have unique names though and none are numbered (no pet1 pet_1 etc) which has sadly become quite hard to do in recent years.

I wish some of the ancient names that aren't active anymore would be pruned out. Once every 3-4 years is just too long IMO. Worse, I've thought up some great names only to find them recently taken like the past 6 months or in one case, hours. Hate it when that happens.

I have a friend who named all his petpets after 4 main characters from The Next Generation, and another who named a pet after some old engine type from out of date starships o_o

Anyways, Im not keen on naming my main account's pets, but their petpets have been Dramatica, Nny, and Wisteria since the day they were attached, years and years ago My side account, Saturna1ia, also has a few pets with decent names. I havent logged onto it in so so long.

I didn't name my skeith Wanyal, I adopted him, but I do love his name.

My three other pets' names I'm very proud of though:

Rukitani the Desert Ruki (I love that name for a Ruki, it sounded Jamaican to me)

And my two yurble brothers (baby and Island respectively):
PahmoPahmoneo and PeeboPahmoneo.

Yark, my mutant Flotsam. I LOVE Yarks, most awesome dream creature I had. I was surprised it wasn't taken. He kinda looks like an aquatic Yark.
Targ_N, ok, she has a boy's name, but no one knows that. *shifty eyes* Targ'N was one of my favorite Magi of Magi-Nation.

Bones_Mcgee...hey, I love that I was able to name him that.
Kai_va...joke on Kaiba from YGO.
Watcher_Buzz...named only for my Buzz Gallery.

Though I didn't name him *coughadoptedcough*, I love Calander's name cause many misspell his name. He had me misspelling calendar for awhile.

let's see First off I created Rubywinged (red, Scorchio) who was infact named after a charater i use to roleplay (not on neopets) Then there is GoldenWinged_Griffon (yellow, Eyrie) I was going with a theme back then... sort of regret it a bit now cause i'd like to paint these pets but want to keep with the name. Then there is bandomes (blue Zafara) whom I adopted a long time ago but I don't mind the name. And finaly there is Xaial (shadow, Draik) i like his name cause i found a website of baby names that actualy mixed names and gave you uniquie ones.... if only i could find that site again..... oh and on other accounts there is Krystalyne an ice Bori from when they where giving out ice bori's for dling the toolbar oh and he also has a petpet named Neige A snow kookith that's probably my most matching name's and set. And finaly finaly there is _Kandaina_ wich is actualy Kendai na wich means generious tollerant and she's a yellow kougra she's the 'guardian' of my adopt and release account

My paranoid halloween lupe is named Bamori -- Bad moon rising . And my mutant xweetok is named Grismaul, a rather choppy combination of the words Grim and Dismal (originally it was going to be Grismal, but that was taken, and now I like Grismaul better anyways).

Them's the only real "clever" names I've thought of, but I'm also quite fond of Elambre (my lutari), Elyff (my cybunny) and Honeytuft (my ixi).

The only name I'm kinda proud of is my uni's name, Saerhyn. It looks kind of weird but I like the way it sounds (SAY-rin). I got it from a site for making elven names for RPers. Mixed up syllables and changed em a bit till I found something I liked. But then I had to change the spelling a bit cuz it was already taken. XD

My other pet, Lyre_77 I'm obviously not proud of. It's not very creative and has evil underscore and numbers. >.< But oh well I still like her. I'm annoyed that my username has numbers in it too. I have no clue why I chose 77 anyway. But I've gotten good at pretending the numbers aren't there.

Why do some of you guys not want to tell your pets' names? 0_o

I've come up with lots of names for my pets. Riccah, Trineal, all sorts of things. They're all either random, or I named them after friends of mine.

i created a koi named Filet_O_Koi. but then i realized i had no need for another pet, so i put him up for adoption. i liked the name. reminds me of mcdonalds, which im having right now! mmm ranch blt...

Random, but Bamori makes me think of Ballymori...Whats the story in Ballymori, wouldn't you like to know?
Oh, and I just remembered the name of one of my old forgotten accounts. It was something like "snp_kld_dmbldr" with something around the sides though. Geddit? "Snape killed Dumbledore"
