The thought of recieving a Baby Paint Brush did cross my mind for a second, but it went away quickly when I remembered we only recieved 2 really good prizes all month long...lol.

So which 2 prizes do you think are the good ones? I'm sure the 'Gobbler' must be one of the good ones...and the other?

All right, I got the winter sidebar today and thought I'd share what I did/had on my account:

DID have two snowballs in my inventory
DID collect every day
DID have gobbler attached to one of my pets, and an abominable snowball attached to another
DID send a merry christmas card right before collecting the prize for today
DID NOT have a snow pet
DID NOT do a taelia quest this month
DID NOT read all of the books from the calendar this year to my pets nor were all of the items in my inventory

I hope this helps in some way or another...

Just to confirm further, I did not get the sidebar today, and I missed collecting the first two days of the advent calendar.

I did get the sidebar *yay!*

The only thing I did beisdes collect every day was make sure all my neopets were happy and fed. That probably didn't have anything to do with it, but I did it anyway just in case. It's probably collect every day.

Maybe its just my thinking, but this years prizes were sort of ... bad. The past year or two, we've gotten some well worth it prizes, but this year ... clothes and other things that weren't, well, that great. :(

I've never heard it called a dummy...

Dummy's the more common British-English name, I think :) Neopets tends to go with British-English spellings and words mostly, I've noticed.
Oh! I just Wikipedia-ed it...

Wikipedia wrote:
Dummy: A baby's dummy, the British English equivalent word for American English ‘pacifier’ or Canadian English ‘soother’.

Anyway, did anyone else fnd the animation rather creepy? I've always found the idea of the baby paintbrush a bit disturbing, but actually seeing it in action ... *shudders a bit*

I'll tell you what creeped me out - the old Grarrl.

I'm just blinking at it... wondering, will our pets look like that one day?
*shudder*

The 2 good prizes I was referring to were the Gobbler and the Shooting Star Muffin (or whatever it's called) ;)
