Edit: Apparently it works when you're in portal mode. If I take the portal wrap off, the bd says it's closed. Weird.

I have premium and it tells me the battledome is closed.
This is an annoying April fools joke. I'm just waiting for the server that is holding all of our equipment lists to crash. I think they should have done something with less riot potential, but just as potent: "release" Neoschools.

I agree, Rakumel. Though I have a friend who is an avid battledomer and he freaked when he saw his stats and equipment gone. However, Neo's joke may have backfired. My friend decided not to play the game at all today. Nothing else is fun for him. Just battling. So, if other battlers feel the same way, Neo may lose pageviews because of this.

The joke was awful in comparison to previous years. I thought something was wrong with my lookup when I was going to my guild, but moved on without much thought. It was only there I found out the joke. Yeah... I'm very underwhelmed. Mreh.

This is the lamest joke ever by TNT. I never use the battledome, so I wouldn't have known if not for PPT. Seems like they forgot to come up with a decent prank so they did this last minute. I just don't find closing the battledome to be all that clever since many people don't care about it in the first place.

Either that or the brilliance of the NeoCharge system has ruined me for all other pranks.

Isn't the Battledome always down on the first of the month due to server updates? I thought it was only for half an hour to an hour. Perhaps they just forgot to put it back up and this isn't really the joke at all since it seems pretty lame.

I doubt any loss of page views due to a few angry BDers will have any lasting effect. People claimed that last years caused loads of people to leave Neo. But it hardly damaged the site. They can't really be avid players if an april fools joke caused them to quit! Even then, they can allways come back!

I thought it was hilarious. Even though I was out most of the day. I know my friends were shocked initially until their brains warmed up and they realised the date! I would have too. I'm well dopey like that.

To those people who thought this was lame. Remember, it was the BDers year! Be thankfull you could do what you come on Neo for without disapointment.

Last year many people whined about how Neo Charge was a rubbish prank too.

I can see tHe battledome just fine. I just defeated Meuka because they've removed all the weapons from 1-player enemies. Nice! I can finally move on to the next DON challenger.

That's true. That was my favorite part too!

Overall, the whole battledome thing was quite cute. In fact, just the fact that it wasn't something big and flashy works in its favor, because it's likely to fool more people, even if it's just temporary. It did fool me for a moment, and I was cursing the time I'd spent training my pet.
