That's actually really good. I think it's because it's shiny. Rukis will be interesting if they are shiny.
I agree, the shiny black is a good touch, like the two-blue tones on the cloud one. Maybe, just maybe, they could use some white to highlight the details of the Ruki. Otherwise, it's a nice shadow colour

yeah but...shadow neopets shouldn't have a shine to them. they should be dark and shadowy and stuff. if the color was just black, then that would be different.

Skizzy, I think they're called "shadow" instead of "black" for politically correcteness reasons...

Maybe it's just me, but the Shadow Ruki kind of looks like someone just turned down the brightness on it.

The shadow ruki looks like it go some oil spilled on it. It should be the oily ruki 
Anyway, I love the shadow ruki. I agree it's very cool and kind of ninja like. It works very well for them.
