Plushie has been updated too - I like the acara revamp overall but they seem to have gone wrong with this one, check out the uber thick lines!

On the yellow one you showed, I think the orange lining kinda clashes...

Anyway overall I think its awesome!!! It is a fantastic piece of art, like all the others, but (also like all the others) sort of lost its rough edges and became simply a cutsie pet. Not that its ever had any competition with the Skieth and Grarrl-type pets, I think they could have made it a little less girly.

Hence the furryness, hehe I'm fearful for the future look of my maraquan acara though, I thought the redraws would have been safe :| I like the revamp, I just don't know how it would look with the maraquan one *worries*

I think that the re-draw is quite well done. Just my opinion though. ^^;

I like the redraw, but why did they redraw Baby? I liked the Baby Acara the way it was. Besides, they've never revamped a Baby pose before that I know of.

I don't mind the basic ones, even Perfect_Patches my plushie can live with her new look...but JubiNumo...oh dear...what the?

Now she has maggots on her head! Where are her tentacle-thingies? Why do they look like maggots now???



And worst of all, with the baby acara revamp they lost the coolest hit stance of all IMO....

RIP cool hit stance, I'll miss seeing you on my pet lookup....



Sigh....they better not TOUCH robot. I waited too long to get Acaran_Robotix the way he is. I'll die if they mess that one up.

Hmm.. yes, I think they are too cute too. Don't get me wrong, I love cute cuddly fluffy things but even the Medli has a limit. :O

But seriously, the happy/circle/sad poses for the Acaras are cute, but I don't like the others. I'm still keeping mine, however. I'm sure Faerie is safe.

Ok, I said on another forum I go to that baby acara is the best of the revamp,but Val reminded me of the wonderful hit pose. Ok, I want the hit pose back for baby acara. >_>

I thought this was a decent revamp, but I said that with Mynci and look at what happened to my beloved Darigan Mynci. =( I still love mynci revamp and all other revamps this far, except Quigglee,but when TNT revamps colors that don't need a revamp, that's annoying. Tyran, Mara, and Robot acaras better not be touched. Well acara butt on mara can go. *whistles as she walks away*

I don't like the way they revamp most of these pets. Obviously they must have a new artist in, and he doesn't like the previous person's work or something....


Why not bring back the original pets. *sniggers* Old school baby !

Hahaha, agreed. The butt thing always did bother me a bit too. That's why I painted Jubi baby to begin with, she's my main battle pet and I liked not seeing hind-end all the time and baby was the only option to avoid the attack from the rear if you know what I mean.

But yeah, I could live to accept the new baby acara if they indeed put back that lovely, lovely hit pose. That pose was the bestest! Gave the baby acara a lot of personality, IMO. Which is just lacking now with some of the new poses

It would be funny if TNT put the hit pose back. Baby Acara revamp, I just noticed the head isn't as annoying as the more early baby pets with large heads. I must be getting a liking to the baby now.

Christmas and Snow are half updated and if Neocolours gets back up I can't wait to see them talk about snow acara again.

Cause...the carrots are back.

Heh, my laptop really doesn't want to see the new acaras, it takes so much refreshing! I'm really impressed with how fast they're going through all the colours, they seem to be working a lot faster recently what with this acara revamp and the major item revamp they're doing.

The acara revamp is growing on me more and more though I'm still fearful for my maraquan acara - I wouldn't mind it having such a cute sad pose but I don't want it's angry or defensive to change And of course they might not touch the redraws at all...

Spotted, speckled and split have also been updated now =)
