Well, I'm off to bed everyone! That was a useless night! ^_^

Oh, that AIM room is lostdeserttheories

But contrary to what everyone here is saying, we didn't solve anything tonight. We had a few theories, and dolphin's was the best one by far, but they all failed.

Heh, I wish we HAD found something. That way, I would have been able to not go to bed empty handed!

A friend of mine (qbureau on neo) told me to come here for help, so here I am!

I can't find one of my scrolls, and I have done everything correctly, from what I can tell. I can't have overlooked it, cuz the room it is supposed to be in only has 5 shelves...

FYI - I just tried the only reading the scrolls that are the same colors/spots, which for everyone seems to be 4?

There is no red Ben in the section noted on my new red Card Catalog (I'm in the basement - catacombs, section dust) ... so I do believe I was completely off the mark on that theory. Sorry folks, I really hoped that was it.

We thought we had found something in chat, so we were testing it out, but it doesn't seem to work for the rest of us (just dolphinling). We think it may have been a glitch, so dolphin is neomailing Mr. Insane just to check and make sure it's not a technical issue.

1st crystal. BYR

1st Light Sequence YBBB RRYY XXYR XXBR

2nd crystal
(same as Kess)

2nd Light Sequence OBGG OPOY XXGR XXPR

I keep thinking there must be a reason why one color in each octet is common to both sequences.... hmmm.

Looking at the 1st and 2nd sequences.. ... I wrote both on my tablet. so I have orange and yellow wavy lines symbol for the #1 position on my tablet..

could it be as simple as reading the orange scroll in the yellow wavy lines section of the Yellow catalog

And is that "Wet paint" sign somehow relevant... could drying the paint give clues.

If this helps anyone, i just tried changing my 2nd color combination into the primaries as was suggested before (RRXRBYYBBXYBRYXX by OPXOPOYBBXGBOOXX combined to equal YBXYRRYBBXBBYRXX) and then read the corresponding scrolls in the same color order as the original crystal and it did not work.

I thought that too, but then my colours dont have one overlapping in each octet, but they still have 4 common between the crystals, this has to be significant somehow

Azzie, or whoever else is on...I'm actually stuck on the third floor, not fourth. I'm looking at the maps, and I can't see how to get to the fourth floor area that leads to the fifth floor. Am I blind or something?

the artisan licensing records others has 3 areas, from the topmost one, go down and further down and there will be some more shelves for that topic<hr>

can you check which area you are in, go and click on one of the scroll stands and it will tee you where you are

Yes I keep wondering about that original crystal too, is it still relevant since those colors are gone? in effect those colors are now replaced with .. Green Purple orange in a triangle this time..

so using that method.. does green then equal the 1st crystal color, purple the 2nd and orange the 3rd?

Now what? Do I have to go through the whole trap/hidden room/wait for light again?

you shouldnt have to wait for light again since you already know the sequence, go to the foreman get another crystal ( he will give you the first one) then just go to the trap and click on the skull and it will become the 2nd one...

Yes, but each one is more specific, for instance, mine is "artisan licensing records, other".

Okay, i'm a little confused. I'm still working on getting the whole "Sharp eye" thing.

So i've matched my lights to my tablet, and i've come up with the different places to go to.
What does it mean when it says in the beginning of this topic that you need to read the directories in the order of your crystal? I don't get that part..

Maybe I do..
So basically what we do is read say.. the yellow rack because that's what our crystal's first colour is. We copy down all the names and locations, and go read all those scrolls? Come back, and read the next rack, and do the same for that?

When your second crystal disappears so does your first cause they join together to make one so you have to go to the yurble chef and then to the spike trap again
