Anyway, fetch is mostly luck.

Tell me about it. On my first try, I saw the book as I was below 20 HP, and I died before reaching it.
On my second try, I went upward one step, and I saw the book directly in my path.

Life is like an analogy.

Done! With 7 HP left! This is exactly why I didn't read any books in the repository...way too tedious.

Sophie - "I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE!"

Sounds like someone has been watching The Italian Job.

(not sure if someone has mentioned this, but...) A tip for Fetch: you can click a tentacle multiple times to go multiple squares in one page refresh. It makes those long straight paths go a lot quicker!

I think it might even work for more complicated navigating (if you quickly click, for example, "up left left").

It should just all loop. You can pass the lighted area many times; it doesn't matter if you have all 7 meepits yet or not. Keep looking, you'll get them soon!! :D

That's neat about the multiple clicking of the tentacles. I didn't know that, but I just got done. Phew! I saw my books and had to map the maze as I went since I had to back-track.

I'm sure you'll find all your meepits! I had 7 meepits and went looking for the area with lights, when 2 of my meepits left! But it didn't take long to find two more and get to the dancing part. It's too bad you can't go back and watch them again.

Wow, this section had everything! PTSD!Sophie, a random Yurble, silly Gilly, and an excuse to play Fetch!

Yes, I occasionally play Fetch! for fun. Yes, I realize how weird that makes me. Tip: make sure you look at the whole visible area on each click and try going around the perimeter at first.

Were any of Sophie's "bad experiences" in the video game, or is it just that the plot writer who likes all the same movies and TV shows as me also likes the Italian Job?

It's funny that Bruno (that's his name, right?) chastises Sophie for zapping Gilly when he was chasing her around the woods earlier.

If they never again involve fetch in a plot I think I will have much happier days.

Has there ever been a puzzle plot (besides Altador) that didn't involve Fetch?

I really don't seem to find the books in fetch!

Edit: YESSS!!!! Found my books at health-points 66. Yay!!! I'll never play that game again.

wow i'm kind of surprised that it seems like i'm the only one w/ a strategy. I tend to stay towards the edge of the maze. The reason for this is the one time i've been to a real maze that was the trick to getting through it. I've played fetch on easy a couple of times using this method and won but i'm not saying this is definately going to work.

Winning on easy is never challenging.

Anyway, fetch is mostly luck. My only 'strategy' was to go in directions that'd allow me to view as large as possible parts of the maze that I hadn't seen yet, so get away from the edges and go in directions you haven't been in yet. But I had about half my hp left when I came across it. It's just luck, no one should need more than a few tries.

Don't say winning on easy is never challenging. Some people just aren't good at certain types of games. Also I only lost like a 1/3rd of my hp if not less which isn't bad. The reasons I stay close to the edge as well is because it give a goal instead of random clicking. I'm more likely to find the exit. Also, staying by the edge the entire time is impossible so I see a lot of the maze very quickly.

?

Well i guess i'm not the only one who goes around the edge of the maze at first :)
