Halloween freebies

I've picked them up every year, and haven't received any during this Halloween. The prizes are usually worthless by the end of the day, which is why most people just sell them. You only get rare treats, well, rarely.

I've held my bags and sold them at 15,000 for the last two years.

Also the food items are mostly worthless, but a few rebound in price over the course of the year. Pay attention to the rarities and you can pick up a lot of food items in the 300-400 range that will sell for a few thousand by summer.

That is, if you have hoarding tendencies and huge reserves of patience.

That's why I have tons of spooky doughnuts in my SDB hoping they will rise in price over the next months to make a little profit.
I do hope we'll be able to get the goodybags, I'd be dissapointed if I missed them this year due to some weird glitch.

I got all six, at the "old" links from last year. This is the first Neopets Halloween I've actually participated in, so I don't have any theories as to whether or not people who got them last year can get them this year...

But I did try when they released the Halloween news, and they hadn't yet been released. But at 3am my time, which is midnight Neopian time, I was able to get one (and then later the other five, because I'm impatient!). TNT does release news ahead of when things are actually available on-site.

I'm going to let them stew in my SDB for a while...I thought about giving one to each of my pets for a treat...but then I decided I'd rather have the money. :lol:

I didn't have to refresh. They came up when I clicked the links. I had to go back to one, because I got a trick the first time. But I have all 6 of the bags now.

Also, I didn't get any last year. I was in the hospital and missed it.

You can only trick or treat to each person once, so everyone who got all of them last year cant get vags from last years spots. Everyone else is just getting nags they didnt collect lasy year

No, because the locations were the same in 2005 and 2004. And I got them both years.

I got Trick or Treat bags from all the locations every year for three years. This is the first year I've had any trouble. I expect they'll fix it later on today.

No thats my point exactly, I dont think this years bags are out yet, people are collecting ones they didnt collect in the past I think

Well, that would work except I'm seeing people on the board saying they got all the bags last year and all the bags this year. Then, there is another group saying they got none of the bags last year and none this year. They kinda mess up the pattern.

ETA: I did report it as a bug to TNT and said that I thought there was a problem for people who collected bags last year. I'm hoping that indeed is the problem and those individuals who are reporting inconsistancies just have spotty memory.

In that case, we can just hope that it's a happy glitch and will soon be resolved. A policy of not giving bags out to people who got them before would be the far more stupid option.

I think the only glitch is them recieving prior years bags. They showed us this years bags and they have not yet been released

Yes.

It should also be noted that occasionally you will find bags from previous years - last year I found one from 2004.
