I really like the pirate and snow gelert.

The Pirate Gelert looks okay I suppose. I don't understand the Snow Gelert though...what's up with the ears?

I think snow pets are just made of stuff you have lying around. So I guess a person might make a gelert like that, with rope for the ears. Well I might not, but someone might do that.

That's it. I'm pulling out the 'unauthentic' card. Nobody makes snowmen with rope, and why is there a branch with leaves on it in the middle of winter?

Are all Gelerts that small? Those two seem very small to me.
But anyway, I'm not a huge gelert fan, but even so I am very underwhelmed by these two colors. Especially the pirate one...pirate isn't a stand out color usually, but this is lame. Not piratey enough or something.
And I saw this at petpet central, it's a halloween tenna, and I know it's supposed to be spooky or in costume, but I can't figure out what it is. Is it an apple? I can kinda see an apple...but still not quite...

Those are the ugliest ears I have ever seen on a Gelert. I'm liking the new interpretations of things like Mutant and Tyrannian, but those ears look like tassels.

EDIT: Just had a thought... how would you get those ears to stand up? It seems like they would break and fall over without some kind of support.

It's definitely an apple.
As far as the Snow and Pirate Gelerts, I must say that I'm unimpressed. The pirate one is VERY plain and doesn't seem nearly as extravagant as the other Pirate pets.

Well, at least they fixed the snot uni. Doesn't make me like it any more, but at least it looks complete.

I have to agree. Though the black around the main/tail/horn to look a bit lighter

Empty your cache and refresh this page, it's definitely different. It looks waaaaaay more like a finished Snot Uni now. 
The flat outlined hair is gone. Though I have to agree with Rindi; I'm glad they fixed it, but that doesn't mean I'll be wanting one anytime soon.

The snow gelert tail looks like a branch is sticking out from where the sun doesnt shine, explains ths weird facial expression.
