Has anyone tried to read one of their scrolls from the Temple? I just wonder what would happen, if anything.

While I hate long lapses of nothing, I think after the constant moving (since there were no breaks unless you screwed up or gave up), we need this time to regroup and go over what we know and what needs to be tried.

I did. It's the same as it was before the repository appeared: my pet gains a little insight and poof! I'm locked out, probably for 12 hours.
And Nuria isn't impressed by the old prophecy either.

At some point in the tomb it was possible to end in a room where the wall was covered in symbols. Does anyone have a copy of that image and if so could they post it please?

Went to the statue and typed in all the names of the symbols on my tablet with no spaces... nothing
figured I'd try that again with spaces and hope for the best.
then I'll try it putting the symbols in reverse order.
Any other ideas? We need to do something with these tablets...but what??
C'mon people... reach... even if it seems unlikely... give it a shot!

I have a feeling that the Fortune Teller will have another use in order for us to get to the other dimension (and fight off the Mummies.) She hasn't updated since the furniture was being built and I think she knows more than she lets on in her sarcasm.
I have the feeling what we'll do with the tablets will have to do with the scrolls in the repository (perhaps translating a "true" meaning)

Actually, the last frame of chapter 10 made me think of our tablets as a "rosetta stone" too. Especially since Nabile seems to be translating the tablets she sees (Qasalan?) into the glyphs from our tablets.

Ok, Here's my thoughts on this.
I'm convinced the tablet is a cypher (for example Fer="A", Ank="J" or whatever"). I've tried matching 4-letter words to the different symbols on my tablet but can't make a match so either I've missed something or it's not 4-letter words. If it's not 4-letter words then either one of the symbols represents a space or all the words run together (which would be VERY hard to decipher).
Or, as someone said earlier, it's a cypher with a code somewhere which tells us what letters (or words?) each symbol represents (i.e. a rosetta stone). That's why I wanted to see the image from the trap room but that looks like gibberish to me.
That all fits in with what the fortune teller is saying and with the pictures at the end of chapter 10.
I'm quite certain that the symbols don't translate to the phrase we were given on completing the tablet.
That's as far as I got but I'd lov to hear comments or other ideas - the more the better.
