I went to the room, and I checked all the books, but they're all regular. Can someone check my math?

My coordinates are:
-76, -237
-16, -257
44, -287
114, -177
34, -327

Thank you.

I... think you've got the wrong constellation. That doesn't look like the Sleeper's pattern. You sure you're looking at the EYES constellation, not the one with the picture of the faerie sleeping?

It's the right constellation. I'm sure.

There should be SIX co-ords; the x co-ords should each be 40 apart, and the y co-ords should be in three pairs. Try Atrus' constellation finder in the first post on this board - that will automatically work your room out for you as well.
This might sound really obvious, but are you sure you have the x and y co-ords the right way round? The first number on Atrus' page should be after 'arcx' in the room URL, and the second number should be after 'arcy'.
This is what helped me. If you just plug in your numbers you know your in the right room(plus my numbers were 72,9 so it saved A LOT of counting ;) )
Then as your tabbing around the room count the books as you go.

You might have to keep refreshing. It took me a lot of tries to get it to finally show up. When it does, you should see a small scrap of bandage on the lower right.

okay, I give up, pleaase help me. My Hunter ist at:
* 687, 995
* 697, 855
* 807, 935
* 847, 805
* 857, 975
* 887, 995

So obviously my coordinates should be

4+7+8+2 = 21, 5 + 5 + 6 + 0 = 16. I don't know how often I checked that room. Is my math THAT off? O.o

If your looking for your room with the spell book it should be the sleeper constellation not the hunter constellation .

You know...I'll go and slam my head against that wall over there. Several times.

Thanks a lot *sigh* :D

And don't forget, Atrus' constellation finder in the first post of this thread will also give you your coordinates for your spellbook room. :D

I'm terrible with maths. :oops: Could someone help me out with this please? :)

These are the co-ordinates I took from the star map:

-134, -222
-94, -252
-54, -282
-14, -282
26, -252
66, -222

Thanks in advance, and sorry if I'm being New Member -ish. :)

P.S: I went to the site mentioned in the above post and it didn't work for me. I wouldn't have posted otherwise. :oops:

I make it 20,9 which can't be right (20 isn't a multiple of 3). Have you tried refreshing your star data by returning to the telescope and then trying Atrus' method again? (With the refreshed data?)

EDIT: My mistake. The refreshing might still help, but I actually make it 6,9, which is a valid room.

Try 6, 9?

EDIT: The site itself didn't work or didn't calculate correct? Make sure you have the Sleeper (V-shaped) constellation, and the exact coordinates. Double check with your actual Telescope. I found the star map had stars too close together on mine, so make sure.
