As many know, I was frozen about six months ago. I filled out the report (only once like it is asked of me) promptly and completely then patiently waited for a response.
I finally got one.
Hello!
This account has been inactive for too long and cannot be returned.
Please feel free to open a new account. Thank you for the email.

That's just too crappy. Knowing full well that accounts have been retrieved after much longer.

Yeah, that's not true. I'd write back and see if you can get a response from someone else, or a more in-depth response from whoever sent that one.

Oy, bad luck. =( Sometimes people get their accounts back, sometimes they dont. I think its because of the overwhelming spam emails that people send that refrain the people who actually deserve their account back.
So sorry about your account Stampsyne. =(

Well that can't be right ...unless they actually shortened the period of time during which someones account can be brought back ...
I'm sorry to hear that, but there might still be hope!

Inactive for too long? Don't they mean they took too long to repond?
Sorry to hear that.

that's weird, I thought accounts had to be inactive for at least a year for them to say that. definately try again, but direct email them this time.

Snail mail them with a very reasonable, yet subtly threatening letter. That should work.

Ouch. Gotta hand it to u. If it was me i would try killing myself.
Don't feel too bad yeah. Take it easy.

That is really bad. My account has been frozen, I've been trying to get it back and I would be so angry if it reached that point. I'm so sorry!

I have done that. Six months ago. So have a few others AND the manager of the Cafe (who does not play neopets)!

I can't believe that they are going to unreasonably freeze for logging into neopets from another IP. WE DO USE OTHER COMPUTERS PEOPLE!

From their point of view though... how can you tell when one persons simply using another computer, or being hacked? Think about it. They're just trying to keep the site safe, yes wrong freezings happen for the above reason, and it's terribly unfortunate... but I really do believe that they're trying to keep the players best interests at heart.

Try another email ... and explain the situation once again. Perhaps you will get someone else ...
The text of that message just sounds goofy, anyway.

Aww.

Keep trying Stampsyne, eventually they'll have to listen to you.
