What is the best I can expect with stats like this:

Level : 20
Hit Points : 40 / 37
Strength : GREAT (37)
Defence : GREAT (35)
Movement : GREAT (25)


and weapons like this?

improved Lightning Beam
Downsize!
Pale Elixir
Battle Muffin
Leaf Shield
Scamander Blade
Lost Desert Dagger

Faerie abilities:

Night Vision
Burrow
Magic Berries
Tough Skin
Haste
Magic Torch
Spark
Air Shield
Magic Pebbles
Smoke Screen
Fiery Roar
Flash
Heal
Nighttime

Am I looking at 1st level or 2nd level only or is it possible I can get any higher?

I would say up to wave 3 (but may be a bit of a struggle).

It really depends on how difficultly the challengers are spaced apart.
