What did *I* do? Offical Warning?

I got an Official Warning from The Neopets Team. I've been on neo for 2 years, and I've NEVER broken any rules.

It says "You have received an official warning from the Neopets Team for violating the Neopets Terms and Conditions. Please do not use other peoples music, images, or content without their permission. If you continue to break the rules, your account will be permanently frozen. To see a list of Neo Rules, please visit http://www.neopets.com/chatrules.phtml. Please do not reply to this NeoMessage."

You might be thinking "alright, she probably stole someones art or something."
But someone stole MY art. Here's the story about that.
About two-three weeks I won first place in draiks in the BC.
( here's the picture)






. About 4 or 5 days ago. I saw a girl {who is now frozen} used my draik picture and sent it in the Art Gallery. I reported her, and some of my friends at the BC boards reported her as well. She was finally frozen after a few days. Now What I don't understand is how I got a warning when all of my petpages, pictures, and stories are my own work and my own coding.

How could this be possible? Is it possible the art thief reported me? Should I email a staff memeber?? If if so who? I was almost shaking when I saw it! I thought the wonderful ppters could help me since I put an advertisement on the bill(board).

It's likely that the thief reported you when he/she saw what was happening.

That's your neopets username on the bottom right, correct? You shouldn't worry too much.

That being said, I suggest removing the particular image that was stolen from your own lookup and whatnots for a while, just to be on the safe side.

I took down my art work I was really looking to make a nice petpage with my art and art from my friends.

Well, if it had your friends images on there, that could be why.

Even if you did have permission, they're not gonna know.

But I didn't have art trade pictures up yet, I wanted to.

I just had my original art work.

I think the person who stole your artwork and got frozen for it was just trying to get a little revenge. There are a few staff members that people have had luck with when it comes to frozen accounts, unfair warnings, and the like, but I don't know the emails of any of them. Once you do get the email of a staff member, show them the picture (and make sure they notice your username on it) and explain what happened. I don't know if they'll erase your warning, but they'll find out who reported you and get them in trouble for false reporting.

By the way, you're a wonderful artist.
