Any tips on this game??
I've only managed to score 5000 after completing the entire game (10 waves) while the top 10 has score like 30k! :o

I'm guessing you've got to keep killing the boss thing (the one that flies at the top of the screen) otherwise you can't get all the points. It's limited rounds, so you have to get more than just the ones for killing the basic enemies. My plan (if I had the patience) would be to kill all of the enemies except one (preferrable one higher up the field) and then focus on killing the boss everytime it flies over for each round. Don't know if they stop after a while or what. But its worth a try :)

Good plan - any idea how much pts does the boss contribute (per hit)??

Depends on the level. All of the other baddies are worth more as the levels go on, so it would make sense that the boss is too.

Side note: That laser? Awesome.

OK, so here we go - a few basic scoring tips that I've learned by playing the game:

-Scoring is based on consecutive hits. The first time you fire a shot and it hits a bad guy, you get three points. Next time, it's four points, and five points, and so on and so forth. I haven't found a maximum, and I've gotten to 25 points per kill.

-Scoring does not change level to level. The only change is the maximum possible consecutive-hit score on the level.

-The "boss" is worth 20 points, no matter when you hit him. And shooting him changes the value of the next bad guy. If you've hit four in a row, and you shoot the boss, the boss is worth 20 and the next low-level creep will be worth 8 points, rather than 7. If you miss him, though, the next guy is 3 points.

If you want a high score, just get to the last level, and shoot all but one of the crawler bugs. Then, just camp out and shoot at the boss. A lot.

Also, if you want a high score, don't miss. As soon as one of your bullets leaves the screen, it's counted as a miss. So don't miss. Capiche?

You can get 2000 points by the end of round 8 if you're careful with your shots - and that's if you're not even going for a high score.

actually, my suggestion is to hit all but two of the standard guys, one of each edge... cause if you only leave one, it'll be crossing your field of fire. Leave two and they automatically create a buffer between them, leaving you open to hit the boss.

Thanks for the two baddies tip. Down from a pay out of 1 per 1 to 40 per 100 sheer rip off. :x

Everything else on Neo is subject to inflation apart from the game payouts which just keep getting cut. :(

Rant over thanks again for the tip. :)
