...Should I paint Defectz?


This Neopet is on one of my spare accounts that belonged to my BF once upon a time and since I'm abandoning one of his "brothers", I figured it's okay to release his name now since they're both on the same, spare account.

On to the color choices!



I can tell you right now... Looking at the list, I think Silver, Orange or Purple are my best choices but, ever the less, I'm still making the poll because I'm still suffering from uncertainty.

Well, the maraquan one is beautiful but if you don't want to, go with silver.

I love the Royal Boy. It just seems to have so much more character.

I like the Halloween one the most... Its so cute.
Purple, silver, and orange are to basic.

I love the Maraquan Shoyru it's just... I don't think he'll be seriously considered in the battle dome and it sort of rips him of the name shoyru.. Not to mention it's head doesn't go all the way back in it's shell in the defence position. Never the less, I am considering it... Maybe I should wait until after they get a makeover. Now that I look at it, it needs one.


Soon, all the Shoyrus will be redrawn to show that they have two eyes and will be given a lot more... "flare." So by then, the Royal Male might not be so full of character and seeing that you have to be related to royalty in order to afford one, it'll be quite some time before I choose a color. But if character was my only option, that would leave me to choose between Halloween, Maraquan, and Royal. And in that case I choose... I was going to say Royal but now I'm even more indesicive. I would probably pick Royal though. It seems to be the only one that would be taken seriously in the battle dome.


Purple, Orange, Silver aren't any less special because they don't have a special pose. I was going to do Shadow for a while, and have two Shoyrus Halloween themed since the Halloween one kinda... sucks. It's too "cute" to be a Devil but the Shadow Shoyru really, really, bites. I hope it gets fixed when they get a makeover... I'm really attracted to that shade of Orange. Maybe I'll adopt a high level Shoyru and get a matching set for the second one on this account has already been reserved for the White PB. Maybe I'll do a Skunk Shoyru with an Orange Hissi and Halloween Ruki... What do you think?

Ah, I have a purple shoyru named HothWampa It was my first pet, and is about 800 days old now! I don't know why people have a problem with the 'plain' colored pets. They are great! I wouldn't mind him being painted another color, pirate for instance...but I don't want to risk labbing him and I don't dislike purple enough to buy the paint brush. I say go for pirate if you are up for spending the NP, or purple if not

My personal favorites are the Pirate, Royal (Male), and Halloween Shoyrus. Maraquan is just...way too green. x.x The other colors are nice, but I'm not the biggest fan of plain colors. xP

It seems like you want a pet that will be taken seriously in the BD. While I'm not the best at battling (far from it, in fact), I'd go for Pirate, Royal (Male), or one of the plainer colors (preferably Fire, Skunk, or maybe Silver), if I had to choose for myself.

Me neither. That's why I'm having such a hard time choosing just one. Maybe I should consider getting a third shoyru or adopt a Hissi and Ruki... This is so unfair. With 50 or pets to choose from, how are we supposed to pick only four?!

And besides, I'm not too fond of the Pirate Shoyru... Unsure why. It looks like he'll be painted a basic color if this tie in the polls doesn't clear up...


Only reason why I want him to be taken seriously in the battle dome is because he's one of three battle pets I own though I might drop this rule if it means choosing a color I like. Since the tie, the colors that are speaking too me are Silver, Skunk, Orange and Purple... @_@;


Why am I not surprised? Halloween is usually my fav color as well but not for the Shoyru... It's too cute to be Halloween. Unlike the Halloween Koi which has the same costume but looks less cute. Infact, it looks awsome. I owned one for a few weeks before it got changed by the lab.

Eh, well, I've always liked the Maraquan Shoyru. (Then again, I love turtles. What's cooler than an animal who has a house on its back?) And I think that if and when the Shoyrus get redrawn, the Maraquan Shoyru will (most likely) stay the same.

I think the Halloween looks the cutest, though I have a soft spot for little devils. My second choice though would either be the royal guy, or the pirate(I love the outfit!).

be weary of the poll..... i can tell without voting that the top votes would be for maraquan, pirate, halloween and royal....probably in that order, but those also each cost a fortune... i say they are overrated. I would go with orange.... people dont paint there pets orange, and its a very cool color, especially on the shoyru... and when people see pets that interest the eye, they are more fun to look at... maraquan and pirate shoyrus are everywhere. Royal... is just overrated. they gave it a cape, helmet, and makeup.... why pay millions for that?

I would go with Skunk. I've always liked Skunk pets. They're quite simple, yet they're not colourfills and just different enough from the solids to be interesting. Plus, they are nice and mysterious.
