Neopets Blocking G-Mail?

Sun Jun 19, 2005 5:58 pm

I just recently signed up a new account with my G-Mail account . I typed it in right, but when I got to pet central, I received this in my neomail box:

A message sent to mailto:___________@gmail.com was not delivered right away. The message from the other server is ''451 Dropped connection (initialize)''. We will keep trying to deliver the message.

I'm having no problems at all getting into G-Mail. (Infact, I have 5 emails saved, none from Neo) So, are they blocking it or what?

I had someone complain about that same problem yesterday, so I guess so. Just make some yahoo junk account, as far as I've seen they never send you anything of use anyway

Hmmm...

I got a neolodge email in my gmail account a few days ago. Unless it's more recent...

I should be recieving another email in a day or two, so I suppose I can tell you then.

I get a very similar message when trying to send neogreetings to certain e-mail providers.

The same thing happens with my darkhorse account. Takes about 5 million tries to send stuff to me. Like my password. (Gah, that freaked me out, I thought somebody had got in and changed it somehow and then changed my e-mail address. Especially because some freaky glitch happened right before. (The amount of money I had out started going up for no reason))

Slightly off topic, there seem to be a lot of problems with the delivery of activation codes. Several times, I've signed up for an account with a perfectly valid email, and the code has never arrived. The support staff are able to manually activate the accounts fairly easily, but it's a hassle on everyone's part. It'd be great if TNT could look into this and see what's causing all the problems. This probably deters new players from the site because they find activation impossible and give up before they even begin to play.
